    timing gear ang locallly released 4jg2T, pag jdm(coming from a bighorn) timing belt. hth

    you want torque/power, try the toyota 1kzte. sasayaw yung likod ng jeep mo sa arangkada.:D

    sige sir mukang ok yang toyota 1kzte na yan :D medyo malaki naman kaha ng jeep namin inde siya yung mga maliliit na mas maliit pa sa vios

    maliit lang ang 1kzte saka magaan(alum head). pang light duty lang sya unlike ang 4j** na ginamit initially sa mga truck.

    nsa 65K or + siguro. medyo madugo lang ang wiring.
    kung sa jeep mo lang naman ilalagay, bakit di na lang mga old school engine like C190, rf by mazda, etc. medyo cheaper pa

    masyadong maliit at magaan ang owner type jeep para sa 4JB1. 2.8 na diesel yun para kang nakasakay sa jack hammer niyan kahit maganda pa ang suspension mo.

    hehe performance + torque kasi habol ko eh
    yung current 12t namin 90+Hp na parang nakakapanibago naman
    kung ganung engine ang ipapalit lalo na pag magoovertake sa mga national road sa north kelangan ng extra power hehe

    around 115HP*3600rpm; 295Nm*2400rpm.

    hi sir,

    FYI, the 1kzte uses a computer box. you might get the engine cheap but the electrician will charge you an arm and a leg for the installation. friend of mine spent 15k on the electrician labor and materials. and the 1kzte may be fast but its not as fuel efficient as a 4jg2. cuz the 4jg2 is direct injected. but the 1kzte runs smoother because it still has a pre combustion chamber unlike the 4jg2 (direct injected).

    Another consideration you should consider is the vibration of the engine. Malakas ang vibration compared to a gas engine.

    mints, 4jb1t is direct injected. but afaik 4jg2 is not. i maybe wrong though

    pero kung wala akong mahanap na 4JG2T baka mag SR20DET na lang ako
    since timing chain din siya

    timing belt eh

    btw yung SR20DET daw 80k daw pero hanap muna ako ng non turbo
    para tipid rin sa gas hahaha

    ayaw rin ng tatay ko eh kung sakin lang yun 4AGE HH na lang papalit ko haha pero yung 12t namin na toyota 381T KM na wala pang palit palit ng timing chain kaya ok rin sakin maghanap ng timing chain or gear type na engine kasi 381T KM nayun wala pang ingay yung chain

    thanks for the info. all the while i thought all of the 4j series were direct injected.
