Two Crosswinds. So far, no trouble. Have had to have a mechanical pump fixed at 150,000 kms on one, but it was poorly maintained. The one that I'm responsible for is at 180,000 kilometers, much of it in traffic and at high speed. So far, it doesn't belch blue smoke, doesn't eat oil, and still gets around 10-14 km/l on the highway. (14 when I'm actually patient enough to drive it at a sedate 60 km/h.)

i have 2 hilanders and my main problem is eliminating the smoke emission problem.
its kinda embarrassing when accelerating hard. too much smoke when looking at the rear view mirror. but its normal for a 4ja1 hehehe

November 29th, 2009 08:29 PM #3^ I agree, i find it also embarrassing T_T. Pero minsan hindi na naman siya masyado mausok. Pero pag malamig masyado ang weather kahit naka idle minsan mausok siya...

It is repairable. But as oj88 mentioned, it is messy (when repaired) and best used as a last resort.
