Hi I'm new here and I have an Isuzu 1999 trooper with a 4JX1 engine. Nabasa ko from the previous thread na problemihan talaga yung ganitong engine.
Para maiwasan ang mga problema, ano kaya ang the best na pwedeng gamitin parts, saan the best bumili and the best service for a trooper na ganitong (hinde ko pa kayang mag casa medyo mahal)
Air filter?
Oil filter?
Fuel filter?
timing belt?
Engine oil?
spark plugs?
Medyo first time kong mag maintain ng tsikot kaya medyo lost ako. I need help big time. I would really really appreciate your help

bro; 1st batch ng 4jx1 trooper yung nakuha mo. yung sakin kasi last batch ng 4jg2(both 99 model tayo). tama sabi ni kimps, usually injector ang problema. pero meron di akong kilala na di pa nagkakaproblema since nakuha nila unit nila. alaga ka lang sa langis sa ganyan.`

Langis? as in engine oil? Actually this is the second engine already, we got it from Japan (through Subic). Kaya ako ngayon Im taking all the precautions.
Is there any way to avoid having injector problems besides the engine oil? Ano ang mas ok for my type of engine.

TIA

and
liqui-molly diesel purge (avail at Hans Shangri-la, 6th level) once every 6 months, 1 liter on a full tank
