    Salamat.

You want to cover battery terminals and the alternator. The fuse box, ecu and scan port must also be covered.

Some use cling wrap or towels to cover these electrical components.

You want a brush to remove all the mud and grime together with a degreaser or joy solution.

I dont own like a ride like what's your. But I assume, you just like your engine bay to look neat and clean. Engine washing is ok.

Never EVER have engine washed, too many things can go wrong. Water and moisture can go in areas where they are not supposed to go in to. Your connectors might rust if moisture remains there.

Even in the casa? Because the last time I bought my gen 10 in for PMS, my SA said it needs an engine wash because it was so dirty.

most parts in the engine bay are rust proof.

Let's just agree that vehicle engines weren't designed to have water sprayed directly to it.

Personally i'll go for the old ways of cleaning the engine bay by using blowers and wipe with a clean rag.

Though electical connectors today isnt the same of those one built a decade ago, its weather sealed but still not waterproof.

Yes I agree. Some electrical are must be protected, even though they are water proof. But for me, I most prefer the engine bay to be washed, pinatutuyo naman yan gamit ang hangin mula sa air compressor. Best way to have it washed, is after the engine's heat had settled down. Kaya ako, after magpa-under washed at saka ko pinata trabaho ang engine bay to be washed in some service Gas Station.

I clean the engine bay myself.

I use small towels to cover the battery terminals and fuse box or any other sensitive parts.

I use water bottle spray for wetting and rinsing the engine. I have total control on what parts get wet.

I use Meg's Engine Degreaser and Meg's Engine Dressing.

Okay, so majority eh pwede naman basain, coveran lang yung ibang parts. alternator, battery terminals(eto yung negative -positive na cable?), fusebox(have yet to locate where in the engine bay it is located),

*StockEngine, anu yung ECU(i have the impression computer box to), at scan port, anu itsura nung scanport?

Then spray ng Meg's Engine Degreaser. This is quick acting and deep penetrating.

Next, rinse with water spray at punas ng drying cloth.

Last step, spray ng Meg's Engine Dressing as protectant.

ingat kayo sa engine wash. I just did mine last Sunday, covered everything alternator, maF sensor, battery terminals, ECU, some visible electrical ports.

guess what nasira aircon ko! turned out my compressor was nasa ilalim where the water settled. it's a 10 year old car with orig compressor. nadale clutch coil, basa, ngaun putok ng putok ang fuse pag on ko aircon, i don't have aircon. I need to have the compressor removed to remove the damage clutch coil and replace it.

i just used low pressure washer nadale pa din.
