Puro regular wesgate type turbo.

Does shop like central diesel accept vgts? or may iba pang shop na marecommend?

On another note, pwede kayang palitan ng regular turbocharger ang vgt turbo in case na masyadong mahal ang new vgt turbo? Accepted syempre na mas mababa output later on, or mas pronounced ang turbo lag, just so magagamit pa din siya. Like yung grand starex kung palitan ng non-vgt and remap yung ecu, would it have similar performance to the grx model at least?

I am not expert regarding turbo pero Mukang mas malaking trabaho to a, wala kasing lumabas na wastegate type ang hyundai santa fe.

Saan kaya gawa vgt ng hyundai? Garett ba or Borg Warner? Baka meron silang authorized service shops dito

I turn off the engine once coolant temp hit 89-90'c. Normal driving temp(2-3k rpm) is around 91-95'c.. No waiting for me since I keep my rpm low few minutes before my destination. Thats the beauty of having a realtime obd2reader.

Thanks for this info, mukang mas ok na brandnew kaysa rebuild, as I remember 35k ata ang turbo rebuild

    Re: turbo cool down.

What I do with the Tucson immediately after I park at home is I open the hood with the engine still idling, go into the house, drink a glass of water or pee in the toilet. After that I go outside again and turn it off, but still leave the hood open for the engine to completely cool off.

Mga 1-2 mins cooldown din yun ......

with all the cool down process, precautions in operating a turbocharged engine, turbos still break down after so many miles. the life gets shorter if the engine condition (lubrication, lubricant, cooling system, compression, fuel quality, air quality and the ignition/injection timing) are not within tolerance. service the oil regularly with the proper oil, inspect/change air filter when needed. in other words, follow the manufacturer's recommendations

swertehan lang talaga siguro sir, depende din sa driving conditions, frequency of use etc. wala pako nabasa sa forums na nagkaproblema turbo ng hyundai yung mga na ondoy lang
