'lam nyo wag na kayo umasa sa gasoline tucson na darating pa on-time. ang napansen ko ang dami Sta Fe ngaun sa mga malls naka-display. ibig sabihin lang, they're using the popularity and the rarity of the Tucson, to sell the Santa Fe, kase yun ang marami stocks at na-gawa na sa korea.

the thing is kung si Hitler nga noon during the height of War War II hindi makagawa ng tangke sa campaign nya all throughout Europe. ganun din ang Tucson, last December lang nilabas yan, i doubt if they can produce as many as 500 units (eto siguro half of the demand dito) in a month's time sa Korea for the Phils. market lang.

and also, since the gasoline seems to be the cheaper deal. hindi talaga nila ibabagay ng ganun kadali yan. mag-CRDi kayo yun mas mahal dahil ang quota ng Hari is all about gross.

    This time, tama si GM

Latest update from the seagulls at the port....only 50+ gas variants arrived and all are M/T. The rest were all CRDIs....over 300 of them. Gas variants are apparently much in demand in other countries as cost of diesel fuel is more expensive vs. gasoline!

by the time the korean factories have manufactured enough of these cars, demands of these cars may or will have subsided kasi sigurado meron na naman bago alternative.

btt.....masilip nga itong new tucson. wag lang sana mahaba pila sa crdi a/t

Tingnan mo yung Tucson GL CRDi. Para same tayo

ako kasi napaka-importante ng ABS, i've had near misses already and boy I was so thankful I got ABS. yun M/T na cuv ka wala kaya hayun lagi ako alalay mag-drive dun. so if i'm gonna buy that entry level, di ko papatakbuhin ng sobra mabilis yan.

or better yet get the Escape, yun lahat ng features & security the top of the line tucson meron tapos sing=presyo ng entry level tuc.

Instead of getting the low end variant, find other cars na mas marami features at the same price. Pero, Pero.. if gusto talaga yung Tucson, go for it kahit GL M/T lang.

    Hey Guys,

Will not get the bare entry w/o ABS, Fog lamps and Air Bag Manual Tucson. I'm a forever A/T na kasi after 17 years driving M/T, upgraded na ako sa relax mode A/T. hahaha.

Tutal, I'm still enjoying the last few months on my first generation (Dec 10, 1999) Ford Lynx GHIA 1.6 -- still at 86K, kintab parin ang Pumice Gold paint nya, religiously maintained and has many memories on it = 4 Girlfriends. hahaha.

Anyway, hintay-hintay lang tau hehe. Sa totoo lang if di pa lumabas ang new look TUCSON, I will stay with my old car.

It's worth the wait sabi nga.
