Sir kingreyes have you tried using the downhill assist.

I tried using it but i heard some noise under i dont know where it came from.

I've used it thrice now -- first in Kennon Road, the other two instances in parking ramps near my office. I really didn't need the feature when I used it, it's just for curiosity's sake. I also heard the noise you're referring to and based on the manuals (PH and US versions) and forums I visited, apparently the horrible sound is normal.

Has anyone tried the service of leather plus corporarion?im planning to upgrade the existing cloth seat of my SF3. Tia

Mine was re-upholstered by Leather plus, they're very good.
You can also bring your own leather and pay only for the labor, just like what I did.

Currently i am using nitro diesel for my 2 week old SF3..im just curious about turbo diesel of petron..unfortunately unioil is not available within my vicinity.whats the best fuel for me to use?any suggestion pls?

Just my observation of Unioil & Shell fuel save. My FC improved when I shifted to Shell (after approx 3 full tanks). Searched the net & was explained that the euro lV diesels, having 10x less sulfur, will not give as good fuel economy. It's a trade-off between fuel economy & protecting the environment.

Having one less 2-stroke tricycle on the road will do much more good to the environment than using Euro IV diesel instead of Euro II. 😆

Just got my 4x2 santa fe last week and oh boy its a joy to drive have a couple of questions lang po on the features:

1. Are the led lights in the headlight parklights or DRLs? Cant seem to have them function as DRLs.
2. When you set the a/c to auto climate control, how do you configure it so that the recirculate air button doesnt turn off by itself?
3. Is the side mirror autoswivel feature during reverse available sa 4x2 local unit? Tried it kasi and it doesnt function as described.

1. I think your referring to the Angel eyes they are actually parklights. DRLs are sold separately as aftermarket options. 2. I think there is no way to disable the recirculate option as previously discussed in this thread. The Sta Fe was designed to to also get fresh air in. Unfortunately here in the metro I doubt if we still have fresh air unlike in other countries. 3. Im not sure for the reverse feature but the side mirror controls are on the driver side door. Try pressing the button on the upper left control panel side of your driver side door. It goes 3 ways. Fold, Auto & Off. These options are for the PH DM version.

I have the same issue with my TB LTZ aircon. Whenever I turn it on auto mode, the re-circulate air button turns itself off automatically. I guess that's the default setting, the idea being that outside air is beneficial (but of course, not in MM).

Thanks po sa response Sir ACarEnthusiast. For item 3, yep fiddled around the side mirror controls already and followed the instructions sa manual on how to activate the auto-swivel during Reverse but it doesn't work on mine. Most probably, hindi built in yung feature.

Regarding aircon,

Try mo eto,

1. Press auto to open aircon.
2. Press recirculate button (2x) to open then close.

Observe mo na.. Mag auto lang yung blower pero yung recirculate vent hindi na mag open..

Then, do not turn off the aircon na kapag pinatay ang makina, otherwise you have to do the steps again.

Sir,ganyan din nangyari dito sa kapitbahay namin,mas malabo pa nga dyan.more than one year pa lang yung SF3 nya.
