thanks to all who replied sa queries ko. I'm very particular on aftersales support, when you return to the dealer for PMS or how they handle any complaints. There was a time I bought a car and the people were all smiles as I made the payment. When I returned to complain about a squeaking seat railing, its as if they didnt know me. t'was hard to have it evaluated under the warranty clause, iba pa yun nagaasikaso ng warranty. but it looks like wala naman ata problem with HARI.

magaling mag-handle ng complaints ang Hari. noon nagpawarranty kami ng evaporator ng starex 07 namin (after 2 months nasira), nag-survey kagad sila over the phone tapos hindi lang yun, nagpadala pa ng mailed survey form.

they really wanted to know na satisfied kami sa warranty service nila.

does anyone here know the fair selling price of a 2nd hand 2006 starex crdi a/t?

i had to cancel my plan to buy a brand new unit last month because of some urgent house repairs that ate up most of my downpayment money. then i saw this 2006 starex so i'm seriously consdering buying it. i just need an idea what the fair price should be.

yup sta. fe sales seem to be picking up. yesterday lang sa friday night out, I saw 3 new ones without plates sa Ortigas Center. today in the village of my in-laws ... and take note this is in Cainta Rizal area, I saw 2 more no plates. one gray, one black

maybe it's the 40k discount + free LTO + insurance. kung add up to halos 80k discount from 1.528M. not bad

just sold my 7 year old adventure and plan to buy my first starex. nagustuhan ko yun grx. my question is, with the new 2007 starex around the corner; should i wait for the new model? if i go ahead and buy now will it's value plummet when HARI releases the new model? also what's the best deal i can get from the dealers? thanks!

If you like the current model now, then by all means get one. If you kept waiting for the 'newer' model (there will always be a 'newer' model around the block) baka hindi ka na makabili talaga :lol:

HARI has still not acknowledged the existence of a Starex replacement so they are still selling the current units at list price. Discounts vary per dealer. You can try to PM 'lui' from Hyundai Abad Santos as he might have a good deal for you.

patience is a virtue
most of the time you get the best deal for an outgoing model once the new one is about to come out.

the new model looks like a big leap forward. meron nang new starex sold by importers. This should force HARI's hand.

there will be a motor show in Aug. it might be the right time to introduce the new starex.

for most new vehicles promos are offered at introduction and after a few months.

unless you need a replacement asap best to wait it out to get the best deal.

totoo naman na a there will always be future models but...
