    My Accent Hatchback 1.6 VGT just turned 1 year old last May 27 having about 8,500 kms and do PMS outside casa. Previous oil used - HGMO Fully Synthetic.

    *rotate tires
    *brake cleaned
    *air filter cleaned
    *engine oil and oil filter changed

    Breakdowns:
    6L oil Fully Synthetic (Total PickUp 9200 First Gold 5w30) = Php 2,820
    Oil Filter (casa oil filter) = Php 650
    Labor cost + Php 100 tip = Php 725
    TOTAL = Php 4,195

    Tataas at tataas pa yan paps. If hayaan mo lang sila ang mag-decide kung anong gagawin sa PMS ng sasakyan mo aabot talaga ng ganyan. Naglalaro na nga lagi recently between 6-18K ang PMS sa HARI. Partida Hyundai Accent na gas lang yung akin. In a way sa aftersales talaga sila bumabawi. Huwag ka na rin umasa for warranty, as mentioned in my post in other threads, kung kayang madaan sa lubrication ng parts, ilu-lubricate lang para mawala yung nire-raise mong problema. Just my .02.

    Woah?! Sobrang mahal naman nyan, tapos palit na talaga agad ng spark plug sa 10k kms? Try to check your manual, kung talagang sa 10k kms eh dapat na gawin yung inooffer nila.

    60k pms done yesterday.

    Aside from the usual maintenance. Fuel filter change was added and spark plug change. Fuel filter (1800 pesos)was full of black sediments. I will change again at 90k and 120k.

    Spark plugs are ngk iridiums. 2800 pesos

    Old spark plugs were looking bad. Next change at 100k

    After maintenance car acceleration was noticeably peppy.

    2010 and newer units are equipped with electric power steering. They shouldnt charge you for any fluid for the power steering.

    As per my SA 60k/120k and I think thats under severe usage. You can ask your mechanic to have a look at the spark plug. Take a photo hehehe. Normally its iridium for the hyundai and kia.
