Hyundai Getz

Good PM, Getz owners,

Makitanong lang po. Meron bang ACU air cleaner ang Getz? Tingin ko meron and it is located on the same part of the car as the Picanto's: behind the glove compartment. Reason I'm asking is: baka meron stock ng ACU air cleaner ang dealers ng Getz doon nalang ako kukuha kung pareho lang ang sukat kasi wala pang stock sa Kia dealers nung particular ACU air cleaner.

Here's a scan of the said ACU air cleaner with approximate dimensions. Notice that the brand of the filter is Hyundai, not Kia, hehehe.

I haven't checked my manual kung merong particulate filter yung Getz ko. Check ko mamaya. Though I think na it is unlikely na may available spare parts na sila. Based on my experience of which they replaced a defective part sa car ko, it took a while bago nila napalitan dahil wala silang stock.

Im probably the latest addition to the growing list of getz owners, after browsing this thread i noticed that hyundai guadalupe EDSA is not that popular compared to makati and quezon ave. Has anybody purchased a getz from this dealer. Sa kanila kasi ako nagpa quote and kukuha ng getz 1.3 LOW, may problem ba sa kanila...enlighten me please and thanks in advance.

Nagpa quote din ako sa kanila noon and they seem to be very accommodating naman. What I didn't like about their branch is that they seem to lack the proper after sales service facilities.

In my opinion, I think its Hyundai Makati. Although I bought my car in Pampanga, these guys have accommodated me in claiming my warranty. Their service bay is also complete. They also have a proper customer lounge which Hyundai QC and Hyundai EDSA Guadalupe lacks.

Lastly, they're one of the handful of dealers who washes your car before it leaves their service bay.

i got mine from hyundai alabang, but based on my colleagues experience (just recently), they said that the makati dealership is giving better deals for the 1.3 low compared with that of alabang. on after sales support, there was a post (sometime ago), about the competency of mechanics between alabang and makati, and the poster was recommending the service of the latter. i have not experienced it myself though, but am planning to have my first 5k check-up at makati instead of alabang.

Here is the quotation as of 7 July from Hyundai EDSA, I had to haggle with the accesories I wanted to be installed.

1.3 GL Low 459,000 ( no fog lamps and rear wiper)
Rear spoiler with 3rd brake light (8,600) and Keyless entry with alarm ( 5 actuators, alarm is sub zero - 6,500) I got it for 10, 5000 combined. Nakamura ba ako?

Planning to buy fog lamps na lang sa banaue once my unit is delivered.

Price for the keyless w/ alarm is a bit lower compared with Makati since they charge for 6,850 at a similar specs. Just don't know if the difference is caused by the alarm brand. Makati is using Titan Extreme, unfortunately, I don't have any idea on which is better between titan and sub-zero.

I have not asked for the price for the rear spoiler w/ 3rd brake light, what i know is that they are selling the fog lamps for 6,600 inclusive of labor.

My officemates are getting the same freebies as you.

You can call Glenn Mallari on the numbers I've given earlier. He is the head of the accessories section, very accommodating, you might get a good bargain.

ok sa hyundai makati. si glenn mallari din ang contact ko dun because of the recommendations here ng tsikoteers. very accommodating, madaling kausap. nkabili nko ng spoiler 8,000 sa knila plus P800 for the tailgate actuator (sa cubao autocenter kse ako nagpalagay ng power locks but di nila nilagyan ung likod). 2,100 ung rain guards and ung prang removable tray sa likod (i forgot what it's called) 1,800 yata.

ET1, dpako naguupgrade ng wheels eh. un paring stock 14". pero im contented with that na.. mags nlng pra gwapo (or maganda) whatever,hehe..

midnight, 1.3 A/T technical gray po un sakin. gus2 ko sana black but ayaw ng family ko eh! mamumuti daw kse pag madumi.haha.. im not sure how much fog lamps, d ako nagtatanong cz may ksma na ung sakin.. pro prng mas prefer ko na sa casa bumibili ngaun.. ung kse power locks ko na pinakabit sa auto centro di maayos pagkakalagay.nkalabas ur wiring. kya inaayos ng hyundai makati since un din nman ung brand ng locks na ginagamit nila (subzero ata un).

i think most of the brand new cars na lumalabas ngaun, di ganun ka thorough ang factory rustproofing.. ill check with my bf's vios kung ganun din un case sa knya.. SAVI ung ginagmit ng hyundai mkati..
