    Bro,

Thanks po20160504_065445.jpg

In the morning or when the car was left turned off for a long time (8 hours or so), let the car reach its idle rpm speed before speeding away. It takes about a minute or two for the engine and turbo to warm up.

After a long drive, let the car idle for around 2 minutes or so in order for the turbocharger to cool down. You would know when to turn it off as you can hear the radiator and intercooler ease up on its activity and the engine reaches it idle state. Shutting down the engine right away will force the turbo into a rapid cool down process and may lead to issues later on. In some turbo cars, the radiator and intercooler will continue its cooling cycle (even when the car is turned off) until it reaches its idle temperature.

Adding 2-3 minutes in your travel time is not that much knowing it will keep your turbocharger free of issues later on.
This was my practice since I purchased the car. The turbo can last a lifetime with proper cooldown and warm up like what is stated by Egan101.

Turns out the drain plug washer is included in every filter we purchase. we're charged extra by the casa - not to mention the more than double markup they have on the oil filter. Goodgear OEM - 290. Casa - 700.

Hyundai Alabang used to charge me P5 for the Radiator drain plug washer every PMS. After 2 PMS, I transferred to Hyundai Las Pinas (same owner). Yun pala, they don't replace it unless there is a problem. As for the oil drain plug washer, they never charged me but they only replace it if it gets deformed.
