Btw, theres a new accent variant (i think). Accent sedan crdi 1.6e a/t * 938k. Saw it earlier sa pricelist ng hyundai sa moa. Will check this out and compare it sa 1.6 hatch totl.

If I'm not mistaken, that is the TOTL. 2 variants kasi yun, the L (black door handles, rear drums) & the E variant (so called 2013 models & current TOTL with 4 discs, projector HL & body color door handles). Check out more pa din, may be mistaken

Will be good if you included in your post where you saw it.

For the ABS, I had already driven with and without. I have driven 2003 Ford Lynx Ghia and 2011 Toyota Fortuner, both these vehicles have ABS, and 2014 Hyundai Accent Hatchback. Actually, in my experience I don't feel anything different, I don't feel cars with ABS are better, for me, regarding the braking distance, with or without is just the same. Siguro hindi pa ako nakakaExperience having hard brakes kaya ganoon ang nasabi ko. Just drive safe and everything will be okay.

But considering the merits of the Accent (being the only one in its class as diesel & quick, with a very appealing design) would you still buy this car knowing it does not have all discs & ABS?

I would like to believe it's at Hyundai Dasma dealership. Last time we inquired, meron pa ngang 2013 MT. We were looking for a 2013 AT though.

I think it's Hyundai Dasma. Last May, there were still 2 available units, 2013 model.

For me, a big YES. Before I bought, I had a choice to buy a 2013 model which has all discs and ABS but instead I go for the 2014 which do not have all discs and ABS because of the reasons that maybe the still available 2013 model had the issues like stacking of clutch, suspension problems, etc. Before, nanghihinayang ako because this car doesn't have ABS, but when I used it and I feel very satisfied with the performance and handling, I have already forgotten this lack of ABS/all discs issues. I am very happy with my ride and I have no regrets in choosing this car. Again, just drive safe and everything will be okay.
