I can only speak for 2013 & above of RB model code. Meron akong 2014 at ang difference nya sa lumabas na 2015 (or 2016) up ay all wheel disc brakes, walang dpf filter at may center console/arm rest. Aside from that pareho lahat.

kung short trips at madalas idle or traffic, madaling magbabara yan DPF.. need mo ng high rev / high speed runs to "regenerate" the DPF.

2013 at 2014 models ang all disc BRAKES (hindi break). 2015 up, drum sa likod.

Officemate had one of these. Failed DCT din but at much lower mileage. Hyundai even tried to deny his claim because he had one oil change done outside the CASA.

Wala ba tayong equivalent ng Magnusson-Moss warranty act?

Just take note that the Accent CRDI is heavy for its size. Despite its subcompact frame, the car’s gross vehicle weight is over 1600 kg putting it in the medium MVUC of LTO.

A friend has one and he’s paying over 5k in LTO registration fees for his Accent CRDI. Around the same cost when paying for the larger compacts (Altis, Jetta, Civic RS) and the standard midsize (Accord, Camry).

so the 1.4L gas accent (less HP and torque than CRDI) is considerably faster than the CRDI?

Probably. Acceleration fades after 3,000 rpm I think

in day to day driving the diesel may still be peppier. the only time i think na mas mabilis ang gas would probably be in all out acceleration. tipong pedal to the metal

A turbo diesel will be better in short sprints compared to a gas NA engine. Turbo gas will trump the other two in a sprint or flatout run.
