Make sure there's nothing interfering with the sensor at the back. Funny as it seems, if you want to pull a prank to someone, you could use a scotch tape (the transparent one) and tape it to the sensor. It'll beep like hell.

    If you're certain it's free-from-interference, it's time to go for a check-up sa CASA

Was about to bring it to the casa yesterday, when i backed out of the garage it was suddenly fine. It might have bee the moist from the other day's rain. Wgich shouldnt have happened, but i'll observe if it happens again.

Btw im now getting 21L/100kms. Is that normal for you guys? Odo is around 200kms. My 3.8 GC gets better mileage at 19!

Well, as a rule of thumb, I'll wait for the post-1000km PMS and see what happens. I typically get around 16-18L/km and most recently, I'm hitting 20L/100km but that's because I idle my engine whenever I listen to my car audio system and I do that frequently too..

I doubt there'll ever be a Sonata club. Demographically, mga executives yun usually bumibili.. so konti lang talaga tayong car enthusiasts who owns a Sonata. If there will ever be a group creation, count me in!

    Would be glad to.

    Front-stage

    The JBL MS-8 processor

    The 2 Xtant amplifiers

Focal TN53K and 3KRX3 on custom aluminum pods

A blurry photo of the front-firing IDMax subwoofer

At night (accessory mode) (Shot taken by Kyle during THP's 2nd GEB)

    During the day

Only picture I don't have is that of the DLS A6 mono amplifier tucked away at the right.

Pang SQ ang dating! Si Nogs ba nag-install nyan? Iniisip naming lagyan ng Alpine PXA-H800 yung Sonata ng dad ko tsaka palitan ng OEM DVD/GPS HU. Whadya think?

    Si Mickey installer ko

AFAIK, wala pa H800 that's locally distributed. Alam ko wala pa nakukuha sila Benedick (of Perfect Circle) ng mga units. From what I heard, it would be expensive too (more than the 30k of BitOne and JBL MS8 processors)

I would suggest a cheaper route nalang. Just get a 2DINN head unit such as a Pioneer AVH-4350. You can get a dashkit from major car audio retailiers (Mickeys Autosound has one.. which is supposed to be mine just in case I change my mind and would go for a P99RS). Yun pangit lang dito is that the stock LCD would only display the time, date, etc. (what it displays if it's off). The steering wheel controls? PAC lang yan. But that's another 5k.

But if you're okay with the absence of the touchscreen 2DIN HU or OEM DVD/GPS, just get a processor lang.

How much ba for the OEM DVD/GPS HU? :D Parang ganito yun dba? 2011 SONATA DVD GPS NAVIGATION 2011 SONATA DVD GPS NAVIGATION [OCG-4031R] - $628.00 : Oemcargps - Oem Fit Aftermarket Car GPS Navigation Headunit for All Car Make Wholesale.

Magpapabili kami ng Alpine PXA-H800 sa U.S. 2 papabili namin: 1 for the Sonata, 1 for the upcoming Montero Sport GTV. Yung OEM na stereo na sinasabi ko yun yung katulad sa KDM Sonata.

BTW, do you think Audison BitOne is a better option? Same number of EQ din ba with Alpine H800?

I would go for the H800. From what I know, it has better tuning options than the BitOne and I simply view it as an improved BitOne processor. Even with the price-tag difference, I would still get it on the premise of warranty.

SoundXperience, the distributor of Hertz and Audison products in the country, has recently folded down. Thus any warranty claims is instantly poof! On the otherhand, Alpine still has Perfect Circle as an authorized distributor here.

    Hi Bro,

Do you mind if I ask how much you spent for your set up? Pa-PM na lang.

    Thanks.

Yun mahal dyan are the Xtants. Retailing at 20,000php in 1995 is around $778 in USD. Adjust that for inflation and it shoots up to $1139 each
