Hello - Is there any negative feeedback with Elantra? Like Accent, there's an issue in engine knock noise.. Planning to buy elantra next year 1.6 AT.. :-)

sa far wala pa naman akong nababasa na ganon issue sa Elantra (knock on wood).

I doubt it. HARI didn't bring in a GDi Sonata after all.. although alot of enthusiasts were clamoring over it, pangit fuel quality natin dito sa Philippines according to them to make it feasible.

Of course, I know a GDi Sonata owner (we all know who that is :naughty2

who doesn't really have a problem with our gas here but you know how people are.. no GDi = better profit margins

Mga sirs, request lang po ako ng actual computed fuel consumption ng elantra 1.6A/T. 'yung majority po is city driving.

As promised. Trip computer's FC vs actual computed FC (trip computer's FC is already calculated to Km/L):

296.0 - 11.37 - 10.14
373.8 - 12.05 - 11.18
357.3 - 11.90 - 10.74
394.1 - 12.66 - 11.62
338.7 - 10.64 - 9.74

So its pretty safe to say that the trip computer is consistently about 10% optimistic.

Nice FC. Hope you could post also corresponding ave speed registered. I'd like to know the FC when you are ave 15 to 20KPH.
