guys, how true is it that meron na talagang 1.6 a/t elantra dito? anong features? same with the 1.6m/t i presume? so malamang same tires? and walang foglights diba? comparing 1.8a/t vs 1.6a/t, which is better? Also, is the 1.8a/t really overpriced? sa tingin ko naman ok lang siya for the price...what do u think?

What type of sedan are you talking about? For me kasi may nakakita na na owner ng civic and me I formerely own a altis I think mas malaki ang back seat ng elantra sa civic and almost the same with altis or may be a little more.

the leg room is a little bit longer than most most of compact sedan, but lower headroom. at sa sobrang higa ng windshield, nag rereflect yun dashboard sa windshield, lalo na pag full tint

Shouldn't be a problem as long as non-metallic tint kinuha mo like 3M CS. I'm also suffering the said "reflection" from my Sonata using a 3M Black Chrome tint. But alam ko mga Civics din merong problema due to their raked windshield so... I guess very minor lang siya. Di ko nga napapansin paminsan eh

Sorry ha, pero nasubukan mo ba magbasa ng previous pages?

I already confirmed that there will be a 1.6 6A/T variant * 868K. Then the only added feature is the passenger side airbag.

Still not convinced? bigay ko sayo number ng mga friends ko sa HARI.

Agree ako dito. Yung rear legroom ng Elantra halos pareho nung 2008 FD ko. Mas masarap pa nga umupo sa back seat ng Elantra. Hehehe

Sir, baka naman nung tinignan nyo nakasagad ang front seats sa likod Para sakin maluwag sya, 5'10 ako so kahit medyo sagad yung front seats, maluwag pa din sa likod. try mo ulit tignan and this time try mo umupo sa likod.

I'm 5'10" too. The back seat is actually spacious even with the front seat adjusted just a bit way back.

Hey...take it easy...t's just me asking AGAIN to confirm because it's such good news to hear that they'll soon be releasing a 1.6 a/t Elantra. I've read the previous pages so no need to bring it up like that...

SO, given the price difference, and the difference in wheel size and engine, what's a better choice?

engine, wheel size, foglamp, back sensor, remote audio control, side repeater, 60/40 split adjustable headrest, i think between 1.8 vs 1.6 a/t , 1.8 is the better choice for a difference of 70 k

1.8 GLS is still the better choice unless the budget is just for the 1.6 6A/T.

The 70k difference between the 1.6 a/t and the 1.8 is very minimal, the engine alone is worth that extra 70k, not to mention the added toys of the 1.8. if they priced it a little closer to the manual, then maybe they got a winner on their hands.

I think mauuna ako sir, kasi nasa 772Km na ako then pupunta pa ko ng subic this weekend. Pero regarding the cost, nung nagpaquote ako nasa Php3,300 for semi synthetic and filter since free nanaman yung labor. I dont' know kung mahal to or mura

Also, question: kung magover sa 1K yung odo let say 1225 bago mag pa 1K PMS - ok lang ba yun or kailangan exactong 1K?

1225 should be ok. hindi mo naman talaga masasakto sa 1000 yan eh. i think basta wag lang umabot ng 1,500, ok pa

Teka, nagbasa ako dun sa Hyundai PMS thread mukhang mahal ata yung quotation sakin for first 1K PMS. Given with the same type of oil (semi-sythetic 4li, I would assume) and filter lang ang papalitan - nag range lang from 1500-2500. Althought Accent yung pinaguusapan sa thread na yun pero may difference ba ang elantra other than mas mahal sya sa accent ng konti?

Agree. Wag lang umabot ng 1,500kms kasi hindi na i-honor yung free labor.

    Update ang regarding the 1K PMS ng Elantra;

    I called Q. Ave:
    Semi-synthetic and filter: 2,800
    Fully-synthetic and filter: 3,800

I also called Commonwealth: as opposed dun sa una nilang qinoute sakin -
Semi-sythetic and filter: 3,500 (+200 na sa una)
Fully-synthetic and filet: 5,400 - dito ako nagulat kasi hindi daw pwede mag semi kasi sabi sa planta fully synthetic daw ang required

    Lastly, E. Rod:
    Semi-synthetic and filter: 3,100
    Fully-synthetic and filter: 4,300

medyo nakakalito naman ang Commonwealth - is it really recommended na fully-synthetic na agad or pwede mag semi muna then sa 10K saka na mag fully?
