bwahehehe. sino si ghadafy??? anu chismis jan?
inisip ko rin maybe underwhelming because nasanay ako sa sonata? then again, may FD kami... and kahit sa cruze, unang pasok mo pa lang napaka upmarket ng interior finish.
actually sinabi rin yan ng friend ko. accent na accent daw. in time when marami na elantra sa daan, you wouldnt tell daw sino si elantra at accent.
pero bang for the buck na yung price nya, if upper 700 ang base. yung 938? mejo mapapaisip ka... cruze cguro ako.
OT: gagawin bang taxi ang accent like its previous model??

Except for the sunroof.
At isa pa, wala daw sa option yung power retractable side mirror. WTF?
More of GLS-Limited, not Premium.
Magkakaroon talaga, iniintay lang yung mga options.

Got to talk to one of the product planners/ product trainer of HARI at MIAS.
He was very welcoming of my feedback.
I told him that the 938K variant would have been better for the money with the 17". Forgot to mention the projector type headlamps.
I also told him, what I keep on posting here.
For the 938 variant, they can add some other useful features but not the ff:
no leather
no auto climate control
no start/stop
no sunroof
no smart key
I also mentioned that the 938K price is not a game changer like the way the Accent 1.4 A/T heavily undercut its closest rival, Vios 1.3E A/T.
A premium or TOTL variant, as well as, a mid 1.6 a/t variant are both under study. The 1.6 GDi might be considered for the TOTL. They are considering all options possible. That's why its important that they hear our voices.

Ok rin yung 17" rims for the mid variant pero mawawala na yung distinction from GLS to GLS-Limited.
Kung ilalabas yung TOTL variant with 1.6Li GDi engine, aalisin na yung 1.8Li MPi? Kasi mas mataas ang HP nung 1.8Li MPi dun sa 1.6Li GDi

Php 80 nga!
My mind is still in 2009 prices.
I guess if the Altis 1.6V can pull off wearing the same rim as the 2.0V, then I think HARI should consider it with the Elantra.
Nevertheless, the 16" alloys look acceptable already.
As for distinction for the TOTL, I believe the buyers for this variant are after the features inside and not really on the exterior. Otherwise for the same amount of money and if they are after the looks, they could buy a totally different vehicle.
I just suggested/inquired about the GDi. My impression from him is that, HARI is keeping an open mind and might be willing to bring in certain options as long as there is a market for it.
