Sa dami ng complaints about the power locks and alarm installed by CASA parang mas maayos pa kung pakabit nalang sa labas...
Good mod ito lalo na sa traffic and long drives.Last edited by andretti; August 7th, 2011 at 04:06 PM. Reason: edit

Well, magandang mod talaga yong Armrest when you're on traffic, or cruisin'. Yong 1.6Blue, merong armrest yon, try na lang sa CASA if they can source it out. But expect it to be twice as expensive as those outside the dealership. Pati nga OEM mudguards & OEM Floor Mats ng accent, officially inilabas no'ng June 30,2011 pa raw, and until now it didn't reach sellers other than the Dealerships in US & Middle East (though I saw an OEM Mudguard sa ebay. the seller was Duncan's Hyundai Accessoies, but 'lang hiya dinoble ang presyo from 30 USD MSRP to 60 USD. Sa sonata nga is around 38-45 USD lang, the same with the elantra)
Ito yong mga inaasam-asam ko na accessories:
- An OEM MObis Rear Diffuser for the Accent (Lumabas na ang sa Elantra, sabi ng korean seller ko, baka december, meron na rin ang accent)
- An OEM looking DVD Head Unit. Actually I bought a 2 DIN JVC Head unit, but I installed it on my wife's honda city kasi i'm waiting for this: Hyundai Verna/Accent Car GPS Navi DVB-T TV DVD Player | eBay
^^^ ang maganda nito, is buong center console ang papalitan, and is flush mounted kaya malinis tingnan. But if you want a decent I-C-E setup, go for the after market known brands. A head unit is one of the important factors if you go with sound quality.
I'll try to message lurkercar, kasi he develops one for our market based on those hardware. May nagawa na sa elantra, but I don't think he could do it for the accent.

if i were on your shoes, i'll have it ASAP, rather than stepping outside from the car without knowing that one of the doors was left unlocked.
It's a question who is installing and how experienced those guys are if magpapakabit ka. May kakilala akong accent owner na gumastos ng 6.5k sa CASA for an alarm w/ central locks, while outside the dealership, probably around 3k lang, and with central lock na yan.
Or if you want a convenient way, bumili ka ng alarm & central lock outside, and ipa-install mo sa dealer mo. But don't worry, some dealers are considerate in terms of after market installation, esp. those dealers outside NCR.

August 13th, 2011 05:42 PM #249Try mo magpakabit na sa Maspro as they already installed mine and alam na nila kung paano. (Hard to believe ako una nagpakabit ng alarm doon). I had it installed before my PMS. Laking ginhawa at peace of mind nung nakabit na.
