2011 Hyundai Accent Modification/ Accessories made

Mga fellow 2011 Accent owners/users lets share our modifications or accessories installed to our unit for the benefit of others who also want to do the same car improvements.. pa pogi sa mga accent natin.

Mine is 1.4 M/T Phantom Black.

- installed H4 HID 8000k hi and low
- change the head lamp park lights and the plate # lights (behind) from warm to white.
- alarm and central lock... ( basic unit kc eh kaya walang alarm and central lock )

Next project:
- Ziebart diamond gloss and rust proofing
- bosch banana type wiper blades
- R16" or R17" chrome mags
- 2 din DVD head unit with gps, bluetoot, usb etc.

Any problem with that bro? ung alarm CASA po ung nag install.. HID lang ung hindi? affected ba bro ung warranty natin dito...

Bro sayang sana pina-retrofit mo nalang. Hindi man sobrang sabog ang output nyan pero kawawa ka sa 8000K sa ulan. Sana 6000K nalang or 5000K ang kinabit mo.

Re: Wiper blades. NWB nalang kabit mo, yung kapareho ng sa 2011 Corolla Altis. Available yun sa Concorde. Color yellow yung box. Mas maganda yun sa Bosch.

Oo nga bro eh, kc ng nabasa ko ung post mo regarding retro fit na gainawa mo sa Tucson mo, naka pagpakabit na ako eh.. hehehe!!! Late ko narin na realize ung 8000k na HID ng pauwi na ulit ako ng Tagaytay from Manila kahapon... Ng nakasalubong ko na ung malamig and maputing FOG sa Tagaytay...

Pede rin ba pa retro fit ang accent bro? How much kaya aabutin bro? Ok din ba ung Hi and Low nya di ba sabog bro?

18K pagawa ko sa retrofit (Bolt-on MH1 Package). Never naging sabog lahat ng projector lens. Wala kasi yung "excess glare" na nakakasilaw sa mga kasalubong.

Bro how about LED advisable magpalagay ng LED? Hindi ba ma void ang warranty just in case?
Balak ko sana grills ng bumper lang sana saka sa lagayan ng fog light dahil wala naman fog light yung sa akin. Saka underdashboard. So any suggestions?

Here are my share of Mods:

UNIT: 1.4AT Sleek Silver

- installed "Code Alarm" car security. (Pinabaklas ko yong unang nakakabit. The system will be armed even if one or few of the doors were left opened)
- 16" Lenso SC-05 Wheels w/ Kumho 195/50/R16 Tires
- Synthetic Leather Seat Covers (custom made, with red double stitches)


On the list: (Items were already purchased but waiting for the OEM fog lights & OEM Mud Guard to arrive para items will be installed one time sa CASA)
- Pioneer AVH - P4250 2 DIN HU (Purchased sa ebay * roughly 20K)
- Hella Twin Tone Horns

Next Project:

- Focal Polyglass Seps
- Rockford Fosgate Sub
- Rockford Fosgate Amp

*** hehehe, I had this setup with my honda city before. Intayin ko muna mag 6 months unit ko before going with this project...

I may not own an Accent but here's a short list of mods that I would not like to see on your cars.

1. HIDs with excessive glare - 8000k & up.
2. LED strips ( regardless of the placement )
3. Free-flow muffler ( come on guys. )
4. Rubber ductail ( those FG looks better )
5. Tilting plates ( your cars are KDM not JDM )
6. Sick chrome stuff ( even wheels are included ... )
7. Useless stickers ( don't ever put stickers on the body. backglass, its ok as long as its small. dont also bother buying those visors up front )
8. Bodykits ( looks ugly, really )

& here's a shortlist of what mods are eye catching

1. Aftermarket rims ( 16's would do. You would compromise a lot on 17's though it would really look good )
2. Lowering springs ( for that dropped stance )
3. Projector headlamps ( Bolt-ons from garyq would do )
4. Branded Super yellow or All-weather bulbs for foglights
5. A good set of ICE
6. All leather interior ( Thanks to lederinteria or seatmate )
7. ECU Reflash ( is that possible for the Accent ? )
8. Muffler cutter
9. OEM Mudguards
10. Horn

*** Stickers/emblems that some of it weren't physically installed on the unit
*** Chrome Wheels (though some find it elegant)
*** Body Kits and Roof Like Spoilers (paired it na lang with your favorite ulam, in short RICE!!!)

*iskotseifrinic: The NWB wiper is around 1.5K to 2K (pair) depending on the size. Kanina bumili ako sa Trans Sport Show for my Tucson, 1.7K 24" & 16" size.

I have a 1.4 a/t red unit
Mods so far
1. Replaced the puny stock horn with fiamm fanfares
2. Installed backup sensors
Future mods-malamang wala na hehe, sayang lang kasi backup car ko lang.

i already like the horn.. well maybe nasanay kasi ako sa horn nung vios ng gf ko.. sama nung horn nung vios..

ngayon ko lang narealize, ang pangit nung pina add ko sa casa.. well.. yung car alarm kasi walang kwenta.. naglolock kahit may nakabukas pa na pinto.. tapos yung parking sensor, ang pangit nung pagkabutas.. parang yung nagbubutas sanay na may camera pang binubutas, kaya parang magkalayo masyado yung inner 2 eyes (4 eye kasi)..

Base sa experience ang sama ng stock horns ng halos lahat ng hyundai models,especially the new ones. Maliit na nga yung kotse tapos mas maliit pa tumunog yung horn hehe, naalala ko yung grand starex ko dati pag bumusina ako pinagtatawanan pa ako ng mga tricycle drivers, kaya palit din ako. Kesihodang mawala ang warranty at least ngayon tabi sila agad.
