Shempre hinde namen ineexpect na maging good as BMW Audi etc. I care for my accent and i love my accent. Nakakbwisit lang un ganun klaseng komento.

no offense my co-tsikoteer if for you the 699K is not worth enough to have a quality brand new car i have no issue with that, but for me it does matter... and I believe the reason we are buying brand new car is to have worry free feelings even for at least a year... Im not a Accent hater, actually i even persuaded my friend to buy the same 1.4 AT Accent which he did... and now im worried he'll blame me if he will have the same problem... and yes i am addressing this in a professional manner that is why I am airing my frustrations here in the forum.
Well if my comments offend most of us who ride the same car, my apologies to all...

I might have delivered a wrong thought, but what I mean is producing a good looking car at sub 15K USD or 600-700K must have few exchanges in terms of squeezing out production cost.

Not to brag, but I bought three brand new cars for the past 3 years (an i10 -> sold for good before getting my accent, a Honda City 2009 1.3AT -> for my wifey, an accent 1.4AT). Not to mention my parent's other rides (a fortuner -> later sold to get a Hyundai Starex, and a Sta fe).

To tell you honestly sir, these cars aren't headache free. I tell you that. My wife's honda city, while below 5k, its thermostat got busted, and what did honda told me? They just told me that the wiring harness was eaten by a rat, and we have to shoulder the expenses. What the hell! My i10 has its shares of drama, but these are all addressed well by my dealer. Even my accent has some issues as well, its camber/steering alignment. But my dealer addressed it very well.

Don't expect your brand new cars to be worry free. It will and will always have issues. The question there, is how do our dealers address these issues when it is still in its warranty period. Kaya lamang tayo nafru-frustate because my ibang dealer na very poor yong after sales, isali mo pa sa mga bobong conclusion ng ibang SA and CASA mechanic, kaya hayon, our frustration sky rocketed to the extent na you blame yourself why you get the car...

Sooner or later, our dealer would be able resolve such issues. My dad nga, it took toyota a year to resolve the d4d issue on his fort, kaya binenta at kumuha na lang ng starex (for the grand sons and daughters) at sta. fe..

dun sa mga may problem sa accent nila lalo na yung mga ang uurumintado na dyan. sa tingin ko patience is a virtue na lang masasabi ko sa inyo. at dun sa mga satisfied owners naman na di nag eexperct nang too much sa kanilang mga cars even there have some problems din na marunong mag intay at GUMAWA NANG PARAAN.

i hope all our accent ay maayos na lahat nang problems soon and wala nang maging issue later on.

Still no signs of engine knock here on my unit. Even placed a micro mic connected to a wireless headset while following the instructions mentioned here, can't hear it... so for me the principle of "why fix if it ain't broken" will apply for this unit. Saka na yang ECU upgrade. hehe

However, might have to claim for suspension warranty on my next check up. I'm hearing a ringing sound (like coins in a purse bouncing) whenever I tread on unpaved roads. Not sure of what the culprit is, but definitely a suspension issue as I've experienced this with my previous cars before. My previous cars though had it at 60+K kms... not 2K kms... hehe oh well good thing 5 years warranty.

Yung headlight moist as I have read here, natural lang daw yan, lalo na sa Hyundai cars.
Yung ticktick sound naman common yan sa metal due to heat..HTH

Guys, I am definitely losing air on my two tires (both on the right side).
Weekly check reveal air loss from 6 to 10 psi..and this from a 6mos 'old' car. It is not driven on a daily basis and even then it should
not be losing as much. Will contact the casa and see what they have to say about this. I find this abnormal for a new car although it is feasible as there are a number of things that cannot be explained and happens just because..

I think they replaced his tires.

Balik niyo lang sa CASA or you may check if your tires are still under warranty, since these are consumable parts.
6 months or 5 years a tire quality has nothing to do with the cars build-up...

Malas ng day na to. Nakasagasa ako ng tambutso along edsa. Late na nung nakita ko. I was travelling at around 50km/hr. :nonono This is the result.
Tanggal ang foglamp cover and may malaking gasgas.

If not try to PM yung nakapag palagay na ng fog lights for sure di na nila gagamitin yung cover na yun...

Not sure though, ganyan kasi yung Starex namin e. Minsan more than 3 weeks na hindi ginagamit, laki ng binabagsak ng tire pressure. Naka-Michelin Vanpix pa yun ;)

sir baka me singaw yung two tires mo. If I were in your place, punta muna ako sa trusted vulcanizing shop ko to have it checked. baka nasugatan ng pako or a sharp object. or possible din, di maganda pagkakalagay nung goma sa rim kaya me singaw sa gilid.

150 pesos lang naman yang two tires as compared to going to the case and spending 2-3 hours (warraty etc)

Thought I'd reply late before I respond to this so I can make sure. Drove it for hours this weekend and repetitively tried this... wala talaga. Happy to say I got lucky I suppose. Ayun lang is yung "ringing" sound sa suspension pag uneven yung road, weird is nawala na rin... pacheck ko na lang siguro next check-up ng car sa dealership. Thanks for the tip bro.

Actually this raises a concern. Yung sa akin din pag tanghaling tapat bumyahe then mabuhusan ng tubig or umulan, nagmo-moist. Nawawala naman after an hour or two, pero di kasi dapat ganoon kahit may breather pa yung headlight housing mismo. I'm guessing iba ang approach ng Hyundai sa pag-seal nila ng headlights, but my assumption would be hindi siya pre-heated bago i-seal, hence the moist issues. Nakakalabo kasi ng reflector at headlight lens 'tong moist na 'to in the long run eh.. pag nahaluan pa ng oxidation ng lens sa labas, wala na masagwa na.

Sakit nito. On the bright side at least lower portion lang ng bumper nadali at mukhang wala namang nag-crack or nag-dent. Just my .02...

Tama to bro, SG.
