August 24th, 2011 09:14 PM #491I just had my 5K PMS yesterday and they reprogrammed my ECU. super slow ang response lalo na from a full stop or kapag paakyat. kanina nung paakyat ako ng building parking sobrang hina ng hatak, there was a time na parang walang hatak so I had to really step on the gas. Noticable talaga yung difference. This is not a solution at all..its just another headache.

Sana naman may solusyon na kasi kung hindi mapipilitan din ako na mag request na replacement ng ECU kasi di ko kayang matanggap na 3 months palang sasakyan ko at 1500km tapos ganito ang takbo. mag countdown nga tayo mga sir ng mga nag pa update ng ECU and got slow response

nun pauwi na ko try ko na sya at 40-50 speed lang halos di ko na nga inaapakan yung gas pedal ko tas pitik pitik then todo angat pitik pitik ulet wala talaga katagal kong ginaganito yung accent ko kanina ala akong naririnig na parang sa predator then medyo nainip ako medyo dinidiinan ko din nang madiin yung gas pedal ko syempre yon may sounds na talaga nang ngalit sa makina.

ganito ginagawa ko sa accent ko tas kapag yung daddy ko lalo na talagang yung rpm nya halos umaabot lagi sa red line. * 4k odometer na sya. sabi pa nga nang daddy ko kapag 5k+ na pwd na namin i sagad yung top speed nya at 160-170 daw. i suggest lang po na hatawin nyo mabute yung accent nyo. baka sakaling mawala yung engine knock na yan.

nahihinaan ko din yung accent ko kapag nag fufull stop. sa arangkada talaga malakas ang accent for me at 40-100km. kung nahihinaan na ko sa pag full stop nang accent paano pa kaya yung kapag nag pull stop? saket talaga sa ulo yan.sana maayos na talaga nang hari yung issues na to sa accent natin

Yep, if it really affected the response in a major way yan ang problema. Isipin lang natin na ang makina natin is just 1.4 kaya we should not expect it to be like the 1.6, the problem is baka its worst than a 1.3
...
Eto pinagtataka ko e, why is Hyundai updating the ECU of the Accent and at the same time honoring to replace some ECU of owners complaining of slow response this to to have the earlier settings since as stated di raw maibabalik sa earlier setting if updated na ang ECU?
Hyundai should only have one solution for this lalo na parang dami na ng affected...

August 25th, 2011 09:26 AM #496kung matic yung sayo bro pahilahin mo yung mga low gear mo wag ka muna mag + - yung saken nag + - ako nang maaga below 1k pms dapat daw pahilahin muna nang pahilahin yung matic mo eto yung nagiging patern nun saken kapag pinapahila nang daddy ko
2nd gear 70-90 4-5rpm nato
minsan 100 pa nga :D kapag nabibitin yung rpm nato nasa 6 na which is redline saglit lang naman baba din agad
3nd gear * most 90-120 lang di nababatak to mabute.
4th gear 120-140
bat alam ko yung gear e naka drive? e syempre hehe. mararamdaman mo naman yun e :D

pre, kakatakot naman yang gear change mo hehehe. pero sa matic ko, pansin ko sa akin pag nakafourth gear na, tapos nasa 2000 rpm, minsan bumababa sya papuntang 1800 pero 4th gear pa rin sya tapos wala namang change sa speed ko (increasing pa nga ako eh). feeling ko tuloy parang me 5th gear eh...

Swerte nung mga hindi nakaka experience ng engine knock, siguro partly due to naihahataw nyo mga rides nyo. Ako city driving, pabalik balik quezon city and manila. Hindi ko pa napapaabot ng 70kph amg accent ko. Wala naman kasing road dito sa metro manila na pwedeng patakbuhin ng more than 60. Unless sa gabi or madling araw. Yung 60kph ko nga panandalian lang. Average speed ko nga according sa multi info meter ko is 11kph lang.
By the way, yang eco meter na yan walang kinalaman kung lalakas o hihina ang hatak pag naka on or off. Its just a reminder kung economical ang driving mo (it lights up).

For 2012, the Elantra gets Active Eco, joining the 2012 Accent and 2011.5 and 2012 Sonata.
When it is switched on, Active Eco changes the throttle map, which means that the throttle opens less (and a bit more gradually) for a given press of the gas pedal. Floor it and the throttle opens wide, but at part throttle, the car will take off gently and deliver better fuel economy.
It also lowers the shift points for the transmission, and cycles the A/C compressor on/off when A/C is in use.
Anong Chinese brand na ba ang available sa market? Yung Leoch brand may nakita na ko post sa FB....
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
