2011 Accent AT - Engine Knock!

ok na po ba yung update regarding knocking sound sa engine ng A/T na accent?

If you want ABS and Airbags get the AT 1.4 Accent, there is no point in installing all this on a 1.4MT, forget it....
If you really want the MT accent and worried about your safety then better use your seatbelts all the time, airbags are supplemental equipments only which may and may not save the life of the person behind it. (no assurance)

Then of course this is another topic, but as everyone knows the more supplemental equipments you have the better...

Oo nga. Mga ot na kayo hehehehe. Wala na halos sigurong may knocking issue kaya wala na nagpo post. Yung akin in the 2-3 days kong tinetesing ok na. Kaso nagarahe na naman for a week kasi out of town ako hehe

hi. this thread re accent "knocking" sound kinda scares me. mine is one month old accent a/t, my first car (bigay lang kaya di maka-palag ) i cant drive it outside our village yet kasi wala pa ako license kaya di ko pa ma gauge ang features nya. ano po ba ang cause ng knocking sound? while reading iba iba kasi speculations nafish ko. thanks!!

Pls. Back read, this issue is fixed now, kung newly released sayo baka upgraded na, kung dipa, just have your ECU upgraded...

Hi, been eyeing to get the 1.4 A/T specially now it seems the engine knock have been resolved. Just wondering, is the Hyundai Accent being sold here by the local dealers the 2011 or 2012 edition? thanks.

If your concerned about spec, both editions as you call it are just the same.
Some countries call the new (2011 local) accent 2012 model hence the notion that it is the next yr model.
