    From Motor Trend:

    Spirra S

This has me interested. Actually, it's not the car but the engine. The engine is the ubiquitous Hyundai 2.7L V6. The supercharged V6 of the Spirra S makes 391hp.

I see a lot of modded V6 Tiburons here, including supercharged versions. I wonder if the hp output is similar to the one in the Spirra S?

I suppose street-tuned ones with little internal modification will be hitting around 300 bhp. For 394 bhp, they'll probably need new injectors and at least a slight decrease in compression.

I see that Korea bought the Spirra from Proto Motors and replaced it with a bigger displacement but with less cylinders.

According to a few short Google searches, Proto Motors is also Korean....

Yup... it is. Strange thing is, the last news on the Spirra was that it was to use either a turbocharged 2.0 or a Ford V8. Maybe this will be the final sign off on the production version... it's been a very long time coming.
