Came from the Cash and Carry area in Makati and had just crossed the tracks when I heard something hit my rear glass, though lightly. Surprised to see this leaning against the glass:
D*mn, right? Didn't feel that it had any adhesive on the sides, so I turned it over. Wala din.
When I got to the parking, went to the back and tried installing it. Apparently it snaps on (assuming you've gotten it installed the right way). There are grooves to keep it on, like these:
I tried hitting the mirror, the metal pole where it's attached, the door -- everything! -- to dislodge it. So far so good na.
So if you guys have the time, check that your rear mirrors are securely snapped on.

Agree. Not sure if the 2 tonner would be enough. Also check if the croc can handle the height requirement for the GS.

^kayang-kaya ng 2 tons. curb weight is only 2,250kg plus payload 1000kg (ang tataba na ng mga pasahero mo nyan) = 3.25 tons/4 wheels = 812 kg per wheel.
pagawa ka ng metal plate sa welding shop na at least 10 inch x 10 inch x 1/4~1/2 inch thick para patungan o base ng jack. you'll never know if you need to change a flat tire on sand or mud. bale wala ang jack kung lulubog lang sa lupa.

October 3rd, 2014 12:35 PM #5859Thanks. Better ba Ang crocodile type (though it would take more space) or pwede na yung bottle type na 2 tons?

first 2 tires i changed were into bridgestones that were only 99 load for 5.5k each. ride was better with the bridgestones replacing a pair of nexens.
then i just recently changed my last pair of nexen tires to kumho portran. finally may nahanap ako na malapit sa amin. 215/70r16 na with the right load rating. best of all, it's only 4.6k per tire! ride is still smooth as ever
Nag-oblong na nexen tires ko at 45k kms.Last edited by JJB; October 9th, 2014 at 12:24 AM.
