Sa hancars ba ang unit mo? You need to ask them to place the ipod cable outside the dashboard. Nasa loob at nakatago.. IMHO, not worth it, pangit ng navigation ng ipod ng HU, (typical china)... Better use USB flash na lang.. Bakit ang china, never consider ang USER interface.. :-(

Wala pa kaming GS bro. Considering to buy 1 either at Hancars and at Pitstop basta maibenta namin yung 2 or 3 cars namin para may pang downpayment kami. Sa akin ok lang yung ganyang interface, di naman ako maarte. Basta the important thing is pwede magamit ang iPod thru the HU at nagchacharge habang nakasaksak thru the HU.

nope. never had a problem sa paakyat. kennon or marcos highway di pa nabitin ang GS ko. puno din kami halos lagi pag umakyat ng baguio. e kahit nga di ko apakan ang accelerator umaakyat e.

Did not have a power-related problem going up Baguio via Marcos. Kung di lang kawawa yung ka-convoy kong Cruze, eh mas hataw pa sana. No smoke belching either. My bro-in-law in the trailing Cruze couldn't tell when I was stomping on the gas until he was far behind and revving the Chevy's guts out.

May konti lang akong comment sa auto tranny ng GS. Since Marcos is a relatively faster winding road, I noticed on some switchbacks, when accelerating uphill from a slower corner, there would be some delay in downshifting, which is why I would shift to manumatic to get to the lower gear a bit quicker. Not to say it wouldn't downshift, but there would be some lag. And since the power of the GS is not exactly in the lower range, you could feel the delay.

I would say this is in part due to being used to the Prado being a bit quicker to shift and the power to be much earlier (though gone sooner, too, since it's no VGT), and perhaps more floor-ing exercises. Hehehe!

skyflakes' and edy's problem might be different though. If the fuel filter on your rigs have not been changed recently, and you've gotten some mileage already on it, you might want to check it like what yebo said.

One more thing. I checked for rust in the rear bumper area by taking off the weather strip, as was mentioned by yebo. Thankfully, after 2 years, ok pa naman. No signs yet.

CRDI man o TCI walang hirap umakyat ng baguio na naka-D. sa dami ng may mga GS dito yung sa iyo pa lang ang nahirapan umakyat ng baguio. check mo kung may water sa fuel tank. open mo bleed valve sa fuel filter manifold, pump manually and check for water. kung meron water need mo drain ang fuel tank, remove the water, change the fuel filter. kung walang water sa diesel, naku balik mo na sa dealer yan for warranty claim.

This might be a case of brake-in required. Though it would also be good to get in touch with whoever sold it to you from Hancars. Where did you gas up?

pinakamaganda nyan ibalik mo sa hancars at pa-check mo sa kanila. puro tayo speculate dito. unfortunately we have given you a few points to check already but you have not replied if you have done the checks yourself, so i think i am right to assume your knowledge in car engines is not to the point where you can do basic troubleshooting. and since naka-warranty pa yan at di mo pwede pagalaw sa iba, ibalik mo na kayhancar yan.

and when you do go back there do not settle for them just telling you to put it in manual mode. you already know that our GS crdi A/T can go up kennon and marcos in D. tell them about your post here in tsikot. kilala naman nila ang tsikot kaya hindi nila sisirain ang reputation nila sa mga members dito.

*automahn.. I was rechecking my posts. Baka negative ang dating. Anyway, bigla akong kinabahan, since gray din unit ko, so prone to rusts.. HVX is a nice variant.. :D

No problem sir, na-gets ko naman agad yung ibig mong sabihin.

Both KDM & PHDM units are prone to rust at the bottom portion of the tailgate rubber seal area..
