2008 HYUNDAI i10

Medyo OT considering the thread's trend, and not sure if moot and academic na ito since meron nang 2011 i10. Our i10 had been plagued by its front rattling sound for a year now, until we decided to have it checked at a Hyundai Casa in our locality. Ayun, solved ang problem, free of charge! even if the techs had to remove the entire steering assembly and fixed the problem for a day and a half. Fortunately hindi EPS motor ang prublema, just grease application sa steering system. Sana permanently ok na si Pepper. I must say very satisfied naman ako sa service, from the manager to the guard. Casa to casa basis nga pala talaga ang makaka-make or break sa HARI.

Para sa akin hindi eh. They are requiring me to have my PMS every 3 mos kahit hindi umabot sa 5K yung odometer reading

So far wala naman ako nagiging problem sa i10 ko. Kung saan saan ko na nga siya nadala. Di ko alam kung malakas sa gas nung nag subic ako 16km/l ang gas consumption ko. 100km/h ang takbo.

go to hyundai e.rod for pms. unit ko 1 yr na 10k palang odo reading. 3rd pms pa lang ginawa last month. e.rod casa follow the odo reading not the month saka mas mura dun try to call them and other casa for comparison.

tanong ko lang po.. bakit sa ibang reviews dami daw problema ang i10??

first is the fuel consumption?? and different sounds daw na maririnig sa dashboard?? (clinging and tiking sounds daw po) totoo po ba ito??

is i10's maintenance good for first time car owners?? thanks for your replies..

Backread po kasi for unbiased feedbacks, pro and con, as they happen, when they happen. To answer your question would be going in circles resulting in wastage of space and time.

as for my unit 1.1 GL model MT so far sa good naman. latest fc Commonwealth to Trinoma 10.5KM/LTR hataw mode at jack rabbit start. 10k odo reading i am only using ordinary oil.

question lang san pwede mag purchase ng Koreisha at Shoshinsha sticker? magkano? thanks in advance

Kumusta na kaya ang availability ng parts ng 1st gen i10? Last time i checked di pa available mga maintenance parts ng i10 like filters and sparkplugs (for the 1.2) sa mga auto supply shops. Now na may bago nang i10, e di mas mahirap na for 1st gen owners?

Yung 2nd Gen i10 na nasa pinas same lang engine sa 1.2 ng 1st Gen hindi pa sila nag papadala ng 2nd gen i10 na VTVT Engine.So Basically same lang parts ng 1.2 1st Gen and 1.2 2nd Gen.

Hi I10neans! How are your Kei's?

I havent been using mine lately. A couple of officemates' cars were stolen.
Last time I used it was in Dec last year. After 21 months and 1 week, and a couple of hairline scratches, still no major issues experienced, just a few rattles inside the car. The over-all performace is still great.
I've installed 2 6x9s at the back recently and a couple of tweets in the front. Aside from that, nothing has been replaced with aft market parts and acc's yet.

Unioil Unleaded
Bosch Super 4
Enoc Full-Synth Oil

One time, a corolla big body rolled backwards and hit my front bumper, it didn't make any scratch or dents at all, maybe co'z I released the brakes and placed it to Neutral so it did not make resistance in my end, but I felt it and my i10 moved backwards. Good thing none was tail gating me. Lesson learned
