Hi guys! my 2006 crdi 4wd masyado na maingay engine at mahina na din hatak. Regular naman change oil nya every six months. ano kaya problem at baka meron kayo alam na shop na magaling sa hyundai diesel engines (pasig, qc area) masyado kc mahal sa casa. thanks guys!

Was there any issues with engine rpm on your tucs?
Mine as noticed every start up especially in the morning, rpm too high even close to a thousand and engine sounds like it is accelerating then pulled a bit the accelerator then it goes down to about 750.

Experience the same pls do share?

I just bought a 2009 Hyundai Tucson. 75t na reading odometer, kaya pinapalitan ko na timing belt at drive belt sa mekaniko ko. napansin ko lang po, yung radiator fan, umaandar lang sya kapag naka-on ang aircon. ganun po ba talaga yun? kala ko dapat automatic sya kung kelan lang mainit na saka aandar yung fan. Salamat po.

Mga sir, paano po ioveride yung alarm ng tucson? Ayaw kasi gumana yung 2 remote namin, so once iopen yung car door via keyhole, nagaalarm yung kotse and ayaw mag crank.

Hindi naman po lowbatt yung remote battery. I also searched google and tried some but to no avail. Meron ba siyang override button same as the MS?

Try lock and unlock the passenger door using your key for two cycles and lock unlock one cycle on the driver's door

On lock state:
1. Lock unlock passenger door twice
2. Lock unlock drivers door once.
3. Then crank?

Tried using the key to lock unlock both doors from outside pero ayaw parin mag crank. Also looked again for the override switch pero wala talaga ako makita e.

My 1st Gen Tucson's aircon conked out. And it has been to the casa 3x. We pick it up, it's ok. And then a few days later, it conks out again. New compressor. New thermocon. This will be the last Hyundai we will buy.

Hi guys, been lurking the thread for a few weeks. This has been very helpful for me.

I'm planning to buy a 2nd hand Hyundai Tucson 2006 model (2.0 CVVT Gas). This will be my first car and I have little knowledge on what to look for when checking a car. Should I get a mechanic to take a look at it? Do mechanics have specialties or preference in car brands?
