Sumabit yung jazz ko while parking banda sa rear at door, meron siyang dent and kaunting stripping of paint. Yung warranty and insurance ko under sa Honda. Ano po ba pinakamagandang gawin? Thanks

Warranty = defect ng kotse. Wala itong kinalaman sa pagkasabit while parking.

Insurance = what you need in time of accidents, etc. Dito ka dapat. As far as I know, pa estimate ka. Tapos file ka affidavit. You may or may not have to pay a participation fee (depending on the insurance policy; yung mga super bagong kotse, minsan free participation for x months).

Tanong mo nalang sa dealer since sa kanila naman insurance mo.

personal feedback ko with the K&N okay naman paps.
tested na ni sir sid of speedlab. according to his dyno testing may 3 to 4 hp gain daw.
ako naman walang basis ng gain so i trust his finding sa dyno test nila. in terms of filtering i know its way better than the paper element na stock.
even high end cars uses k&N so no am not really worried about its performance. tried and tested na din sya sa market so confident ako its a good filter.

got it from a seller at HCP. natyempuhan ko lang unused tas 3K lang benta nya. wala namang issue, may lupit lang ng onti yung box pero yung filter itself walang issue.
may friend ako nagbebenta 3.8K filter lang. sa sulit may mga nagbebenta din. around that price range din.

same here. i opted for reusable air filter and cabin filter.

K&N Drop in Filter - 3K, lifetime filter. yung cleaner & oil recharger 900 ko lang nakuha from sulit. tipid naman din kasi konti lang magagamit mo. sa tingin ko i'll be good for 6 cleaning or more

Torque Cabin filter - 1.7K - based sa description sa website, kahit 10 times daw pwede linisin, pero tingin ko higit pa dun. mine i cleaned 1 time na, matibay yung material and filtering element nya so palagay ko tatagal talaga. every 6 months ko nililinis.

atleast with these washable/reusable filters less kagad to kapag nagpapa PMS.

i just bought the cleaner and recharger separately paps. yung K&N kasi oiled filter as per instructions sa website nila, yung hurricane dry element yan. no need to oil. kapag naman lilinisin yung hurricane dip in soapy water onting brush, rinse, then dry with hair drier then okay na. no special cleaner & oil recharger needed for that.

makikita nila pero kung hindi ka naman nagke-claim ng warranty in relation to a faulty engine or air conditioning, they wont take it againts you if you use these aftermarket filters.

let me share one of my experience when it comes to "warranty stuff", when i got my jazz 1 week pa lang pinalitan ko na talaga yung busina. i couldnt take the damn dinky horn. asked my SA sabi nya void daw electrical warranty kapag nagpalit ako outside casa, since i dont like the ones available sa casa (accord horn, which by the way is plug and play, kapag sa casa nagpalagay hindi void warranty) i went out and got me air horns, yung may maliit na compressor, (compact nautilus). got me 2 sets of these babies, got them installed outside casa and i was happy. heheheh! after 6 months, nagkaproblem, nawalan ako busina, went to honda, sabi ko nawala busina, didnt mention na pinalitan ko, sabi sakin they cant fix since hindi sila gumawa. so i went back to the place i got them installed in, ayun, sunog yung wiring nung sa busina, it turned out nung initial install kahit na 2 yung nilagay na relay isa lang yung nagdadala nung load, in short mali yung wiring. hahaha! inayus naman nila, this time made sure na tama na yung wiring. they did the following:

1. replaced the wiring
2. replaced 2 relay
3. made sure na 1:1 na ngayon, 1 relay per horn.

after 1 hour, got my horn back. never had a problem since then.

heres another boboo i did back then

replaced the interior lighthing with garax, yung puti. parang bitin kasi for me yung amber na stock lighting.
replacing the dome light and the interior bulbs wth high power led was easy, the one i had difficulty on was removing the cover of the plate light cover, upon removing that, i accidentally broke off the pin that locks one of the plate light cover,sabi kasi dun sa instructions push and push to the left daw, napalakas yata ayun bali yung pin. hahaha called honda immediately and asked if they can replace it, good thing may pyesa for it. 232 petot lang naman, sabi nga nung SA ko kung daw dinala ko lang dun they would have replaced it for free, e sabi ko nasira ko e. okay lang atleast mura lang.

sabi nga nya sir eh nailatag na daw nya yung makina nya sa garahe nila eh..hehehe... pag ako gumawa nun malamang sobra ang turnilyo pag balik..hahaha.. by the way sir bayen..nagtatayo siya ng carwash and detailing sa may UP village near philcoa QC.. so sa mga ka tsikoteers po natin dyan eh kung malapit kau dun sa area eh dun na kau mag pa detail..hehe (baka bigyan ako free detailing..hehehe)...malufet po yun pag dating sa Jazz GE/GD kahit EG pa..so nothing to worry kau..update ko kau pag finish na yung shop nya...
