Second Gen. Honda Jazz/Fit

Guys,

Baka may na encounter lang kayong ganitong situation. Here's what happened.

My fuel gauge line is almost at the letter E. My Range to Empty tank upon arrival of Gas station is 42 KM left.

I filled my Jazz up with 600 pesos worth of Unleaded around 11.25 liters equivalent.

but when I started my engine. my Fuel Gauge Line didn't move at all. my Range to Empty Tank on the screen is still at 42 KM.

Any ideas what happened dito? My JAzz is just 2 months old. I called the Casa up and tomorrow pa madiagnose ng technicians.

Any of u guys encountered this? d naman to ganito before. I filled her up 500 pesos worth of gas about two weeks ago, umakyat naman from half mark ng fuel gauge to about 3/4 of the full tank.

sir based on my experience there are SOME gas stations that offer cheaper gas per liter, but do not have an accurate pump, may pinsan din ako na naka encounter na wala man gas talagang na i karga. try doing full tanks always sir, that's my gauge kung matino yung gas station, if the gas light comes up, you should gas up max 32 liters, dahil may 10 liters na reserve, pero it depends on how far you traveled since the gas light came up syempre. I once filled up in a gas station samen, mas mura ng 4 pesos per liter, petron XCS, they filled it up 32 liters, but I still have 1/4 gas left on my gauge, that's the first time it went more than 30 liters akong nag pa gas, eversince I got my jazz, kahit naka ilaw pa yan, max ko na yung 30 liters sagad pa yon. anyway, I've been filling up my jazz with shell lately, so far accurate pump nila and they are 4 pesos cheaper din kase katabi lang sya nung petron, when my gas light comes up, it's 30 liters at sagad yon, kita ko yung gas dun sa neck nung tank naten. and so far I've got better FC with shell premium than any unleaded I've tried. 12.4km/l average ko last time I filled up, that's 60% city and 40% highway.

I'm on my 4k km mark, and better FC na talaga, lately I don't let my gas light come up na, I always fill my tank whenever I pass by that gas station.

BTW sabi nila yung gas tank naten naka hati sa tatlong tank, so whenever you're uphill or downhill, there will always be gas on three dividers, that's also the reason why our floater is positioned higher than other vehicles, lalo na tank naten nasa ilalim ng driver seat, not under the trunk like other vehicles.

baka sa iba mas mura, dun n lng ako kuha

Honda Manila ako sir.. as far as I know, parang mas mahal lang ng 200 or 300 pesos dun sa dealer mo.. pero I still have to confirm with my SA..

Guys, quick question - ako lang ba or do you also feel a slight vibration sa brake pedal whenever naka DRIVE sa kayo sa A/T nyo and nag-automatic ang aircon? not alarming naman yung vibration but I used to drive an Honda Civic 08 FD, never ko naman naramdaman to. Natural lang ba yon?

Hey guys,

I just came from the Casa today. I had my 1,000 check up and I asked about the fuel Gauge not moving which I shared yesterday. Apparently all 2009 onwards City and Jazz have this flaw. And the Casa checked mine out and everythng was fine but the plant issued this advisory which they showed to me. let me share it with you guys:



This doesnt mean tho there is anything wrong with our cars its just a design limitation that it cannot read rightaway if you fill up gas less than 9 liters.

They did something and now my fuel gauge went up and my range meter as well. They did a good job of washing and buffing my car it looks soooooo gooood I'll take a pic of it later. Good service Honda! So better fill ur cars up with more than 8 liters to avoid this trouble

share ko lang itong experience ko sa casa (san pablo).
pinasok ko yung unit ko for body repair more than 10 days inabot ng paayus ko.
nung kinuha ko na. ayus yung pagkakagawa parang walang nangyari.

ang problema lang nung nag start na ako ng makina empty na yung gas at 0 (zero)
na yung range. off ko agad yung engine then pumunta ako sa service advisor
at pina alam ko sa kanya bakit walang gas? kasi nung iniwan ko meron pa cya
at yung range nya 180+ pa. at hindi pa umi ilaw yung gas pump icon.

pero sinabi nya na pwede pa naman daw itakbo yan kasi meron daw
15liters na natitira yan. so tinakbo ko kasi meron din malapit na gas station.

ang tanong bakit nawala yung gas? wala naman repair ng makina, yung difference ng odo
nung iniwan ko is 1km lng. ikot ikot lang sa loob ng casa. so inisip ko baka
yung mga mekaniko nila nagpapalamig sa loob ng kotse kaya naubos.

sa tingin nyo hindi ba masama yung 0 (zero) na lng yung range?

Ok lang yan sir malaki pa naman reserve ng Jazz. Kaya yung bangga ko hindi ko mapagawa dahil sa ganyan reason baka kung anong gawin sa oto mo habang nakaiwan dun. Wala naman nawalang gamit sa car niyo sir? For sure chincheck din nila lahat ng singit ng car mo baka may mga items na naiwan. Dami ko na din friends kasi na mga nawawalan ng gamit pag pinasok ang oto sa casa.

Also sir hindi ba tinake note yung level of fuel nung chinecklist yung car niyo bago iniwan?
