yup. im a girl. hello, im krizel. dont call me ma'am. krizel na lang. =) anyway, this is the paint shop im planning to go to: Unipaint 9245094.i'll drop by maybe on saturday. it's located at visayas ave. tandang sora qc. =) it's a dupont distributor thats why i chose to go there. i havent read any feedbacks about them though. will just try their paint. =)

by the way, paint ba as in paint na ibbrush sa sasakyan or spray paint tong bibilhin ko? i seriously have no idea. hahaha. sorry naman. my friend just asked me to buy paint and dad na daw nya bahala. haha.

Just ask for automotive paint. It's best if you know the paint code and/or color of your car so you can give that as reference.

hehe. sorry ma'am. base naman sa kwento mo mukang alam nila gagawin, you'll never know kung di mo sila itry... hehe... pa update na lang po ng result...pag ok baka dun ko na din pagawa oto ko...TIA

btw pareho tayo ng color ng GE and kailangan ko nga din pala parepair and papaint bumper ko... haha...

Kung madiskarte ang SA niyo pwede naman ipasok yan sa casa kunwari meron papa check tapos pwede na pabanatan yan sa painter ng honda sa loob without charging you officially,,, ang bayad diretso sa pintor with the help of your SA. Ganyan kalakaran sa mga casa kung madiskarte ang SA niyo. Let say ang singgil ng honda eh 5K magiging 2k with tip na lang. hehehe kuha pa talaga ang color code hehehe...

Masyado ata mura yung paint nila ma'am. I had a mine repainted sa shop ng friend ko. The materials alone cost about P2,000 (without labor). Dupont single stage. Paint + activator + Dupont Thinner. Make sure ma'am they mix the right shade (paint code is located on the driver side door). In my case ito po yung code ng TWhite paint nung akin.



Kung bibili ka din ng paint never buy on a rainy / cloudy day. Pag ma-araw kayo bumili para may tamang lighting para makuha yung tamang color. Kasi kung hindi makuha yung shade mag mamapa yung color sa painted area.

Go to a reputable dupont dealer/mixer. It took me two dealers/mixing to get the right shade of T White. Yung paint dealer sa E. Rod malapit sa shell (forgot the name) kuha yung shade nung akin.

watercolor yata gagamitin... hehe Ang alam ko spray yan. hindi yata kaya nang brush yun finish nang auto.

Question: Ano gamit niyo windshield wiper fluid?

Nun naubos yun kasama na nakalagay sa kanya galing casa.. tubig na lang pinalit ko. Parang ang labo na tuloy nang windshield ko pag nagwiwiper ako. 2 months palang GE ko possible ba na sira na yun wiper blades ko kagad? Di nabibilad sa araw to laging parked indoors.

Update: dami palang thread about this here sa tiskot. Possible palang acid rain yun. Baka mey DIY kayo diyan alam for acid rain before ako bumili. TIA

Natatanggal ng clay bar yung asphalt and other sticky dirt pero it leaves yellowish marks.Eh ang dami sa sides! So far ok naman yung detailing. Home service, it cost me 2.5k for 3-step detailing which also includes interior and engine. Btw, Meguire's gamit na wax. Meron din akong ganyan stain. Sa mga nababasa ko pwede rin daw WD40 pang linis.. kaso di ko pa nasusubukan. Walang time puro work.

I also tried WD40 and Wipe-out, di talaga matanggal. Buffing lang talaga pwede. Sabi ng detailer be carefull daw when buffing your car, baka raw kasi mabawasan or matanggal ang top coat. Especially our GE, medyo manipis daw ang top coat.

Yep Colorvision. Pero you have to buy the activator/ hardener. Nung bumili ako dun paint lang ang binigay. Kailangan pala may activator/hardener. You also need to get the Dupont Thinner. Kaya mga P1,500++ siguro. Nakuha nila yung Tafetta White na shade dun.

Yung asphalt stain ng TW ko natangal sa kerosene (gaas) at "paint" thinner. Hinugasan ko ng Joy dishwashing tapos pahid ng Paint Thinner tapos banlaw ulit ng Joy... Mahirap lang talaga alagaan ang TW. Prone sa stains.

I think walang top coat ang GE natin. I believe single stage na dupont paint ang ginamit (without top coat) or I may be wrong.

sa mga naka GE dyan .. pansin ko lang kasi mahina aircon ng amin ... naka one lang at center ang thermostat ... kasi minsan nadadala ko ang city ibang iba ang lamig ng city sa jazz considering mas maliit ang jazz .. tama po ba ako o pakiramdam ko lang po ito? kasi kahit biruin mo maaga pa like 7am gusto ko na i set sa 2... nyahahahahhaha samantalang sa city naka 1 lang ako tapos 1/4 ang sa thermostat .. may naka experience na po ba sa inyo neto? tnx po .. pakisagot nalang po

pag umuulan or pag umaga naka 1 lang ako and thermostat nasa 1/4 to 1/2.. minsan nasa 0 pa yun thermostat (mey lamig parin kahit papano) pero kaya naman. Magisa lang ako niyan, nakatutok lahat sa akin and nakasara yun passenger vent. Pagnadagdagan nang 2nd person.. kailangan na talaga lagay sa 2. Pero never max yun thermostat since kaya naman na.

tungkol sa thermostat at lamig ng aircon... minsan todo at todo din ang blower. pagumuulan naman nasa bar 1 ang thermostat at blower 1 lang... kasi nagmomoist hirap makakita.... pero kaya parin kahit tanghaling tapat ang init kahit nasa blower 2 at half and thermostat, without complain.
laruin mo lang ang lamig at blower para masanay..

Sir di talaga kaya ng claybar tanggalin yan asphalt stains. Sa CB ko na jazz dami kong stains tsaka aspalto. Kaya sya tanggalin ng mothers Step 1 Pre wax cleaner. Ginawa ko eh pinapahiran ko muna ng step1 yung stains na makita ko. After a few minutes balikan mo and gamitan mo ng applicator pad para ma buff off yung stains.


Kung gagamit kayo ng step 1 uulit kayo sa pag apply ng step 2 and 3 since mabubura ng step 1 yung existing wax ng oto nyo..

afaik.... step 1 should not be used often... nakakanipis ata yun.. even claybar removed the existing wax and sealant you applied before..
