Regarding breaking in.

How do you know if you've fully broken in your car? Is it when you reach the first 1000km? 2000km? Honda says that the engine is already broken in so I didn't really go through a break in period. I've had the car for almost 1 1/2 months now and have ran about 1600km.

How would you know if a car wasn't broken in properly? This is my first bnew car. Been going used cars prior to this so I don't have any ideas about this stuff.

The reason I asked is that, I noticed that at 120km/hr at a highway my tachometer is at 3500rpm to 4000rpm and the engine is really loud. Feeling ko parang hirap. I have a 1.3 MT. I'm starting to think that it's because I didn't break it in properly. Am I making any sense?

ako, medyo huli nako nagpalit ng busina. pero ito dapat isa sa mga una na palitan.

i'm not sure if all models ng Jazz has the immobilizer, that's good enough for me.

looking at the 50k mileage, i think it's not bad for a 5-year old car pero for the price, i'm not too sure about the 400k lalo na na 1.3 lang. if it's really in good condition, tawaran mo ng 300k to 350k siguro. depende ren kung meron ka pang aayusin sa car.

Hi to all jazz owners. Atlast I got my Jazz rallye red 1.5 AT... ask ko lang kung saan mas advisable mgpalagay ng alarm. (casa or outside case auto shop)? Malaki ba difference ng price? I observed also na bihira ata ang may red na color... thanks and more power!!

how fast is the response time when changing gears using paddle shifts?

i found +/- features of invecs 2, ford focus and grand starex slow/delayed when shifting gears.

Well for me, after ng first changed oil pwede ko na speed up above 100kph to the max... Usually sabi nila kasi masikip pa yung piston.

haha naobserve mo rin pala yun. i choose between white 1st choice ko and blue 2nd choice. pero ang available yung red. but still iba din pla red. head turner din. siguro nga konti pa lang sa road dito sa area namin.

it's a bit faster compared to the Invecs 2.

regarding breaking-in, it's not really about the speed but yung rpm that you have to watch out for. i reached high speeds (at least more than 100 kph) nung wala pang 1 km yung Jazz ko but i made sure that di siya umaabot ng redline.

sa 1.5 variant 2000rpm nasa 100kmh kaya super tipid mode nakakapanibago, sa SIR ko dati nasa 3000rpm++ ang 100km/h.
quick question sa mga naka body kit na... san po kaya mura magpakabit ng cf spoon lip tska diffuser? nag paquote ako sa DZ 23k ang set. baka may alam po kayo mas mura

suggestion lang bro...after mo mag pa fillup ireset mo yung trip meter mo. nakadepende kasi sa distance travelled tska ave. speed and fuel yung km/l ng jazz natin. so after you fill up dont forget to reset...hth

Meron din ako vr g7 copy...

first check the offset, if its 17x7 ok sana kung +45 offset.

2nd can you get a picture yun back side ng wheels in high resolution? para i can pinpoint kung same tayo ng source. para alam mo san galing yan. (if you want)

3rd yun rota ang alam ko walang VR na naka engraved sa wheels, not like yun sa akin pero medyo mukhang VK hehehe

Na-experience nyo na ba na almost empty yung fuel gauge tapos after mo mag-gas up ng around 200 to 300 petot e hindi gumalaw yung gauge? twice na kase nangyari saken e. First instance was with my first gas up after getting the car tapos yung second e ngayon lang nung hiniram ni erpats. Sabi ko sa kanya baka nagalaw ko na yung reserba kaya hindi umangat yun pero sabi nya baka sira daw yung gauge. Just confirming kung tama ako na nagalaw lang yung reserbang fuel. TIA.
