April 27th, 2011 10:00 AM #1Hi guys! I already posted this on the Aircon and Temp thread but no one is replying, I just wanna ask your opinions regarding my problem. I know there are lots of threads regarding this but I can't find one with the exact same scenario as mine. So here it goes...
I only use my car 3 times a week (ave. of 35 - 40km back and forth), and sometimes my reservoir is already drained after a day, sometimes after two or three days. I think I have a leak or something so I did some troubleshooting (I got the techniques here in tsikot.com hehe!)
1. Checked under the car for some leaks, didn't see any.
2. Refilled the reservoir this morning, after I got home from work I checked it again. The coolant level remained the same.
I don't experience any overheating issues, it's just that I think it's not normal?
BTW my ride is 95 Civic ESi.
Sorry for the long post! Hope you could give me some inputs!

Fasten your seatbelt! Or else... Driven To Thrill!

April 27th, 2011 10:32 AM #3Ang dami talang cooling issues ng ESi no?
Baka maluwag lang yung takip ng reservoir tank mo sir kaya nag-eevaporate palabas yung steam!
So after cooling, bawas na yung tubig mo kasi nga nag-evaporate!

April 27th, 2011 11:42 AM #5*Ry_Tower - Yes, I check under the driver side everyday and I don't see any leaks so I believe my water pump is good. Also had my timing belt replaced and the mechanic didn't advise me to have it replaced so I guess it's still good hehe..
*isa - Yeah, I've searched a lot about overheating and most of the time those who had encountered this are EK/EG owners. Luckily for me I don't experience any overheating issues. I'm just worried because my reservoir loses a bit of coolant everytime I use it.
*zero - Thanks for the price estimation! I want to DIY if I can kasi. Just have my timing belt changed and I'm quite short on the budget.. Been working for 9 months pa lang straight out of college.. hehe..
Thanks for your inputs! Hope you can give me tips on how I can DIY..
