    So ung type-1, hindi anti-freeze?
Ung manufacturing date, sticker nakadikit sa takip.

that's the new packaging for philippines only (afaik). if you read the packaging it doesn't say country of origin most likely repackaged yan dito sa pinas, from drums

meron anti-freeze qualities lahat yan, coz the ingredient that raises boiling point (glycols) also provides anti-freeze at no added cost

ang difference ng type type1 vs type2 is the anti-corrosion chemistry. type1 is "conventional". type2 uses organic acid so the factory fill can last 10yrs.

confeeermed mas mura iyong type 2 coolant sa casa (honda alabang) kesa sa internet reseller na fairly reputable sa shopee. the casa sells it at P752/liter compared to P888/liter sa shopee (as of last month). sigurado ka pa na " genuwine" ....tulad ng seiko wallet.

5 yr old na CRV ko and papa drain and fill ko na coolant. Although rarely use na siguro 4k kms in a year na lang nagagamit

Should I just sticked with OEM Honda coolant type 2?

Doing a search online dami na compatible sa type 2 coolant.

aisin, prestone asian, pro99, peak, zerex asian coolants.

Ano pinaka maganda diyan na replacement for original HONDA coolant type 2?

If you plan to keep it, better go with genuine Honda Type 2. Kahit mas mahal, amortize mo lang ng 5 years in your head and it's not going to be all that expensive.

factory fill coolant is good for 10yrs. then replace every 5yrs after that

honda type-2 doesn't have 2eha (which is a cheap inhibitor used on cheap coolants) which supposedly attacks silicones/rubbers/plastics

on my suzuki i'd probably use type-2 as well

if i were me, i would.
local honda AT has a history of... being choose-y.
    baka ganun din sa coolant...
    kung can afford naman...
