That's is weird. When the car is not moving, speedometer should be 0 any time of the day

Hi, I've posted here before about our battery dying after just one year and someone pegged it down as the stock battery being weak. However, we replaced it with a Panasonic battery then and a year later, that one is dead also (well before the 18 month warranty ran out).

Is anyone else having problems with their battery? Sabi dun sa Honda, pati yung mga gumagamit ng Motolite nagkakaproblema rin. Normal na ba talaga ngayon na 1 year lang tinatagal ng battery?

non-honda vehicle.
short trips. 5 km or less. the drain on the battery from starting the engine, couldn't be replaced by the charge it gets during the short trip.
frequently turning off the engine during long traffic stops. it may save on gas, but the battery ends up under-charged.
many electrical appliances. aircon, sound system, lights, cigarette lighter plug-ins, etc. each toy aids in running down the battery a bit more.

we have two identical vehicles, with identical batteries.
one is used for short trips of about 5 km per trip. driver also shuts engine down during long traffic waits. the battery died on its 13th month.
the other vehicle is used on long trips. greater mileage, but only a bit.. its battery died after more than 4 years.

a battery deteriorates faster, if it is left under-charged for long periods of time (i.e., overnight, repeatedly.).
sometimes, we blame battery quality, when it is the way we use it, that we should examine.


btw,
if still under warranty, even by just a week, you might still get a spankin' brand new battery, free of charge. so what if the second battery warranty is for the duration of what remains of the initial 18 months warranty?

Sir sorry kung off topic, im planning to take mobilio ee mt next month, ano ba mga common sa sakit or problems naeencounter ng mobilio, kasi my wife's mmother and her brother is doubting it because it is honda, they prefer avanza over it due to the fact that avanza eh matagal na daw sa market at mas maraming pyesa, diba 3 years naman ang warranty so covered yung car sa mga defects for 3 years? Thanksss
