I sparingly used my 7-speed mode as I cannot upshift/downshift unless you're on the right speed. At least that is how I remember it.

Use your car in 'D' mode as it is supposed to give you the optimum Km/L performance through your CVT.

If you want a more spirited drive, then try the 'S' mode...

Hello...I am not that techy when it comes with cars and I am considering buying a Jazz as well..just want to ask a noob question...what is a CVT and what does it do?? thanks

cvt - ibang klaseng transmission. pwede mong i google.

wala na atang brand new na jazz na naka cvt ngayon. yung normal na AT na lang.

You can buy at Multi Parts at Banawe. 1 liter of CVTF costs around 600-700 pesos (You need 4 liter). you can also uy sa casa then pa change ka lang sa ibang shop kung nagtitipid ka. Mas mahal nga lang yung CVTF sa casa. Make sure lang na yung shop ng magpapalit ng CVT fluid is may machine na panghigop nung lumang CVT fluid para drained talaga. Not sure but sa manual every 2yrs ata ang palit.

I believe big deal sa mga CVT yung fluids nila. Medyo maselan ata ang CVT. I recommend palitan mo na yung CVTF mo kung hindi ka sure kelan nagpalit yung 1st owner. Theres a thread here sa tsikot about Honda CVT problem.

Yung 2009 city ba cvt pa rin? We just changed the battery and namamatayan ng makina coming from neutral, full stop or a slow down. I hope this reset might help, pero walang L yung gears, hanggang S lang.

ano po kayang pwede kong gawin?..ok lang po ba kung reset ko yung CVT? kahit hindi nagpapalit ng battery?
at pano po ba gamitin yung 7 Speed mode?..kasi tnry ko xang gamitin nung una parang wala nman nangyayari..and then tnry ko xa ulit nung isang araw kasi sabi ng mekaniko pag ginamit ko daw yun mas matipid sa gas..so nung pinindot ko ulit, hanggang no. 3 na lang xa, tpos parang bumigat yung sasakyan..parang hindi makatakbo ng maayos kaya inoff ko nalang..normal din po b yun?..

pls..kindly help me po..wla talaga kong alam about sa car e..1st car ko po to kaya gusto ko sana nasa condisyon at pwede po makahingi ng mga tips about jazz?..kung ano po dapat kong malaman?..
