Honda Jazz/City CVT Reset Procedures

Just got my 2nd hand Honda Jazz 1.5 A/T yesterday. Was wondering why is it when I use the 7-speed mode, the gear is on 2 when I make a complete stop. Then I saw this thread and did the procedure this morning. WORKS perfectly!!! Now, it shifts back to 1 when I make a complete stop. That means I calibrated it right, right?

For the recalibration process, we do this while we are stepping on the brakes with the hand brake engaged? or do we let the car move forward and backwards. Or the resetting and recalibrating should be done as one process, meaning derederetso yung lahat ng steps for bot resseting and recalibrating, thus engaged ang brakes all through out?

hi!..Good day..bago lang po ako sa site na to..nagsearch kc ako sa net about sa fuel consumption ng jazz and then nakita ko to at nabasa ko po yung mga comment ninyo..actually wala po kong naintindihan..hahaha.
pls. kindly help me to solve this problem on my jazz 07 matic. nabili ko po siya ng 2nd hand..2 mos. ko pa lang nagagamit..so far wala naman po problem..kaya lang nung nalaman ko na 14-15km\l pala FC ng jazz..nagtry akong icompute yung akin..

here's what i did..
-nag pa gas po ko full tank then reset the odometer
-after 18km of trip nag pa full tank po ulit ako and here's the outcome
-gas consumption is 3.660 liters..so 18km/3.660= 4.9..tama po ba compute ko?..
normal lang po ba to?..kasi parang ang lakas sa gas?..ang alam ko kasi matipid daw po ang jazz..
ano po kayang pwede kong gawin?..ok lang po ba kung reset ko yung CVT? kahit hindi nagpapalit ng battery?
at pano po ba gamitin yung 7 Speed mode?..kasi tnry ko xang gamitin nung una parang wala nman nangyayari..and then tnry ko xa ulit nung isang araw kasi sabi ng mekaniko pag ginamit ko daw yun mas matipid sa gas..so nung pinindot ko ulit, hanggang no. 3 na lang xa, tpos parang bumigat yung sasakyan..parang hindi makatakbo ng maayos kaya inoff ko nalang..normal din po b yun?..

pls..kindly help me po..wla talaga kong alam about sa car e..1st car ko po to kaya gusto ko sana nasa condisyon at pwede po makahingi ng mga tips about jazz?..kung ano po dapat kong malaman?..

mas ok siguro kung gamitin yung oto hangang maging half tank para mas accurate yung reading. same gas station po ba nagparefill? hindi lang medyo, malakas yun for the jazz. try niyo po ulit.

7 speed na + - ba? alam ko may + and - yan sa steering wheel. shift on low revs. mga 1.5 or 2 rpm para matipid. mas ok yan kaso mas nakakapikon on manila traffic. hehe mas ok gamitin sa highway driving.

mabigat po ba apak niyo sa gas? try na light lang apak para mas ok fc niya

nothing special naman po ang malaman niyo sa jazz. just do routine change oil tune up. bata pa po yung oto so wala pa masyado magiging problema.

Sir ask ko lang po kung pano po malalaman kung kelan papalitan yung CVT Fluid?..im using honda jazz idsi 2007.
pasensya na po sa tanong ko..wala po kasi kong alam sa mga cars e..=))

I understand that every year or every 20KKm, whichever comes first, ang recommended schedule ng palit ng CVT fluid bro....

hindi po same gas station..does it make a difference po ba?..yup meron po + -..but the problem is I really don't know how to use it. while I'm driving last week I tried to use it kasi mas makakatipid daw po sa gas..nag slow down ako and then I pressed it tpos biglang umakyat sa 3 yung rpm at parang bumigat at hirap tumakbo yung sasakyan so inoff ko po.. ano po bang nagagawa or uses ng 7 speed mode?

mejo mabigat po tapak ko sa gas pag gusto ko po bumilis yung takbo..ehehe..lalo na on high way..

Ang alam ko,- sa Honda lang nakakakuha ng tamang CVT fluid.... So, sa casa lang... You can ask around though, bro.
