Honda FD Taxi

well...since ang tagal na noong huling post, what is the REAL reason na hindi ginagawang taxi ang mga Honda vehicles dito sa Pinas? I thought noon na gagawin na taxi ang 1st gen City, pero hindi pala. Kasi they want their reputation here na pang private ang Honda cars dito??

Yeah more on prestigious grounds, Honda has studied the behavior and mentality of Pinoys very well. Para sa Pinoy, taxi is low class so Honda avoids that. In other countries and cultures that don't see in that way Honda are made taxis no problem...

pero it depends sa market at sa situation ng isang bansa...e.g. Hong Kong, Camry is also used as a public transportation kahit high-end car sya; or Benzes in some European countries. Honda wants to be in class in this country?

Di naman siguro to that point na prestigious as in parang Mercedes or BMW, pero somehow mas mataas tingin kaysa ibang mga same price competitors... Its higher resale value reflects that...

^ Kaso worth it ba yung resale value? Talaga bang mas maganda pa rin honda city in 5 years vs Toyota vios in 5 years with the same use & TKC halimbawa? Kung hindi naman (the plastics, paint etc are not distinguisable kung alin ang better), parang hindi worth nga yung "premium package" ng Honda.

Sa ibang bansa kasi wala silang pakialam kahit luxury car pwedeng gawing taxi . Para sa akin mas maganda dahil mas comportable ang ride nito.
