Hey I heard before that Honda Phil. used the "contract" thing to hit 2 birds w/ one stone. It's a simple marketing strategy actually.. thru this kasi they can hide their known suspension quality weakness and at the same time make consumers feel pampered and exclusive because of their car not being a Taxi and all.

lahat ng sedans regardless of make will have problems in suspension if we are talking about Philippine roads. the only reason why matunog ang Toyota is bec. napakamura ng replacement parts.

it also explains na kumbakit nagreklamo ang mga car parts dealer sa north expressway area. ever since daw nagawa ang NLEX, humina ang benta nila sa replacement parts pang-ilalim.

now I have a Honda CRV which is almost 10 years old and I had a 4x4 Mitsu strada na 7 years old. My mitsu wore out sa suspension first at malaki ang pagawain so i decided to sell. it's newer than my crv and it has less mileage than my crv.

pero itong crv ko, hanggang walang pa din pinapalitan na major sa suspension.

we also had a civic esi and a corolla gli, both encountered problems in suspension exactly after reaching 3 years of use. so to say that Honda has weaker suspension is unfounded.

There's no such thing as a contract preventing someone converting their Honda's into TAXI's (even the old ones). But the above would LOGICALLY explain everything.
