Our old 1st gen CRV's fuel pump was replaced with a Denso fuel pump last year. A few months ago our CRV suddenly lost power and stalled. Looks like a quality issue with Denso fuel pumps produced in recent years.

    Hmmm....Toyota parts don't mate well w/ Hondas?[emoji848]
Hope you get it sorted. Pump trouble can get 1 stranded & would need towing.

i think toyota also has/had a fuel pump recall issue...
its tailend overlaps with honda's woes.

maraming fuel pump issues yung 2018 - present na BR-V and Mobilio di ba? yung biglang namamatayan ng makina. yung iba nga daw naka park lang then ayaw na mag start.

    i read someone explain it.
because of its design construction and choice of materials,
when it gets hot, the material expands and chokes the moving part, freezing it in its tracks.
    fuel stops getting pumped.

So far it happened only once. We were able to get the engine running after a minute of cranking. The denso fuel pump was an equivalent to the original installed in the 1st gen crv (forgot the brand).

With the recent Denso fuel pump recall I highly suspect we got the same faulty fuel pump for the old CRV.
