Honda crv 3rd gen issues please help

Hi Sir Szekan,

tanong ko lang kung saang shop nyo pinagawa yung Bushing ng EPS Rack N Pinion nyo?

issue din kasi ng FD ko yan palit na lahat ng pang ilalim pero kalampag pa din. yun pala yung pinaka Bushing ng Rack N Pinion problema. wala ako makita gumagawa. hassle tong EPS

hi guys, 1 week is gone and i am still repairing my car. at the start of this thread, my car had 3 problems...
1) knocking noise from under the car
2) transmission jerk and delay shifting
3) low idle rpm

so far work conducted

1) changed the following parts

LH engine mount
RH engine mount
Rear transmission mount
2 x KYB front shocker
1 x strut mount bearing
2 x stabilizer link
plus labor

31,000 peso

rebushing of rack and pinion
rack end and tie rod repair
ball joint press
labor

6,500 peso

All knocking noise solved.


2) changed the following
Surplus transmission and changed the damaged gears
8 litre transmission ATF
labor plus home service

30,000 peso

Transmission solved


3) did the following
new spark plugs
cleaned throttle body
cleaned MAF sensor
reset ECU
Reset throttle position

still the car idle is very low.... it is now in the hands of a very qualified technician by the name of Frank De Leon. hopefully he will solve this in his own fashion.... shall update soon

How often does this happen with 3rd gen crv? Or isolated issue lang ito due to wear and tear?

Same here po need ko po repair ng eps ng 2009 honda crv gen 3 ko po. You had it done for 6.5k? That's great. May i know also po knino po kayo nagpagawa? Thank you.

If it's the seat weight sensor that detects being sat/occupied, the hobo route would be to bypass w/ SRS fooling resistors.

Yes on Facebook messanger search for
Gasper pilapil Jr. And tell him a friend whom he repaired the rack and pinion black crv recommended you. He charged me 5k. However usually with the Rack and pinion, the outer tie rod and rack end also needs replacement or repairs.. So keep a seperate budget for that.

Decided to try gaspar pilapil's services. repair of EPS alone will cost you 5k. Had my tie rods and rack ends repaired also, 850 each, total or 4 heads = 3.4k. Replaced the stabilizer links as well, (replacement)2.4k pair. All work done for 10.8k. So far so good.

After a week, may noise s left side ng suspension. I suspected it to be the balljoint. Went back to gaspar to have it checked. True enough it was the balljoint. Had it repaired. 900*. Left and right side. Nice quiet ride again!

The mechanic said there are only 3 mounts which needs to be changed. There is no noise or any sort of cluck when driving on rough roads. It's super quiet. But on idle with air con, there is vibration. And also sometimes on reverse gear

no jerking now after replacing output shaft speed sensor. hoping its solve the jerking.

bought the speed sensor from Honda Tandang Sora. replace it myself.

akala ko rin transmission na problem but after check with my OBD, fault code lumabas is P0723-02 which is Output Shaft Speed Sensor.
