D-series ba ang VTi sa Pinas? If so, there is a $2,000 difference when buying a surplus engine between the D-series and the B16

makina ang pinakamalaking factor kung bakit mahal ang SiR kumpara sa VTi or LXi. AFAIK, SiR is comparable to the 2.0 trim of the 8th gen.

-that's DOHC 1.6L 16valve 160HP
-4wheel disc brakes
-15" 6spoke alloys
-195/55R15 tires
-CD player
-available in rather funky looking colors too.

naging mahal din yan kc konte lng lumabas.. mejo naging limited edition and sought after by many because of the engine and suspension it has... kung baga sa economics-- demand is high but supply is low kaya mahal ang SiR....

for example bibili ka ng 2nd hand na honda vti then palit ka ng engine which is ganun sa engine ng honda sir do you think the price is much cheaper or marereach nya ung actual price ng SiR na stock?

Supply and demand.

If you get a VTi and swap the engine, the price will still be the same. Maybe even lower, kasi modified na.

i would recomend na sir na lang talaga kunin mo bro! marami kapang babagauhin sa vti para maging SIR eh, hinde lang naman engine eh disk brake pa! AT iba parin talaga ang tunay na SIR kesa sa converted!
