To those who are aspiring to buy a Honda Civic SiR, a word of warning.. May mga ads sa sulit.com na ang nakapost "Honda Civic SiR" tas sa mga pictures Honda Civic VTi yun!! So please, be careful..

concerning the local p6zd1 engine of the SiR, is 8000 really the max rpm? i heard B16's max reaches 8200 with the rev limiter kickn at 8500..

i thought B16's and p6zd1's are the same except for the code thanks Vtec expert's D

KEEP IT OR SELL IT? That's my dilemma.

I have a growing family (3 kids) so I use an SUV.

Today I was "handed down" a 2000 SIR for use as a 2nd car, all stock, with 87k in the odo. I'm not a racing fan though. I tried to run it at 180kph at the Skyway, fastest I've ever driven in my life. It was fun, but I don't feel the need to do it again. I guess speed is not for me.

So I will only use it as my city car, since it is relatively fuel efficient compared to big SUVs, and to bring the kids to school (driver actually gagawa nun).
Ok lang ba pang everyday car 'to, or masyado bang sayang? I am open to getting a Jazz or Yaris instead.

pwede rin ibenta tas bili ng bnew para iwas problema. pero kung trip mo talaga SiR saka kung maganda pa condition, pwede na din i-retain.

How is the condition of the car? If it's well maintained and all stock then it's a "keeper." If I was in your shoes I'd use it as a coding car. If your budget allows you to get a brand new on then go for it.

All stock. It just needs detailing, but otherwise in a very good condition.

Actually di ko sya pwede pang coding, kailangan ko sya pang everyday because I'm also buying an Exped for my big family. So yun ang magiging coding/weekend/out of town car.

Mga paps, anu anong orig colors ba ang nilabas ng honda sa civic sir
alam ko lang kase passion orange, black at white. meron ba red at gray na nilabas. tnx
