mahirap na din maghanap ng MT na k20 ngayon. they'll ask for higher price because it is "rare"

6-7 palengke traffic (yung maraming tricycle na mababagal haha). abot 12km/L pag highway.

Nung binili ko, kasama ko mechanic, chineck namin if there are noticeable delays sa shifting, for leaks. Nakalista din sa previous posts yung mga sakit ng fd, whether k20 man or r18. kaibahan lang is EPS yung k20 so wala kang problema sa leaks sa ps. check mo lang din if okay yung steering.

Nung inuwi, pinalitan lang namin isang wheel bearing sa likod. Lagpas 1 year na sakin, no issues pa naman. Sinuwerte lang

FD Civic is not CVT.

But if you're referring to ATF - yes it's good practice to replace ATF right away after acquiring, unless you have full service records which indicate when ATF was last replaced.

sakitin din yung engine support/tranny support per feedback ng ibang may-ari. siguro di pa lumabas sakin kasi di masyadong gamit due to ECQ/GCQ.

Nagpalit din ako ng ATF nung binili. Tama si sir jut, di CVT yung FD

check the power steering system of the fd (if it's a 1.8 v or 1.8s). it's known to develop leaks over time.

and also the engine supports nga din pala. pero easy na ngayon magpalit niyan w/ all the replacement parts out there.

kung automatic transmission iyan, i suggest check mo din status nung transmission fluid niya. medyo you'll get an idea kung maalaga iyong may ari niyan o pabaya. mahirap na din kasi kung mag start sliding na iyong tranny mo. sakit ulo lang kasi may edad na din iyan.

Vibrations pag idle - sure na engine support problem ba ito? Usually anong side nasisira? And saan kaya best kumuha ng parts (and what's the reasonable price) ? Is it ok to use non-OEM?
