Advice ko sa mga hindi pa namamatayan ng battery, mag invest na kayo sa portable jump starter. Our battery died 10 months in. Pakinggan niyo pag hirap na yung starter malapit na bumigay yun.

There are multi-port models. Cables of various lengths are offered, too. Age of my last & final Motolite bought cared by the batt tender is 4years & running. We know that brand's longevity is now a myth.[emoji4]

I don't have a BR-V. What I have instead is Mazda 6. I just wanted to share about this device when I saw your post.

Industrial practice I've seen in maintaining battery is charging it regularly. This I believe should be the same for automotive industry.

Regarding portable jumpstart battery, I gave it to my brother together with the CR-V 98. I'm planning to buy one for this diesel variant that I have. You'll never know when you need it. Should you need it, you really need it.

Ctek is ok at first glance. Pero napaka mahal yon. Better buy a new battery nalang at that price

Yes, and this may be good for you. However, that is not the case for me. My battery is priced at 15,000 so I really need to take care of it and hope to extend its life up to 5 years or more if possible.

Now, consider buying a new battery every two years and compare it with a battery replacement of 4 years using CTEK charger. It has paid on its own.

I think there are other brands that are not so expensive. I just posted the link and description when someone mentioned about this charger hoping it will help him and for others to consider it.
