Our 04 Jazz (1.3L iDSI CVT) did not manifest any issue, whatsoever, until the time we sold it....

kung warranty pa ang unit mo, suwerte ka. iyon lang nga kailangan mong napagawa sa casa for at least 3 times. Kasi after 3 times na ginawa pero hindi pa rin na repair, puwedeng under warranty na palitan iyan. Else nasa 300K something ang part na iyan.

I think kaya hindi na gumamit ng CVT ang honda sa bagong jazz and city.

kakabasa ko lang sa hcp, halos pareho ata symptoms niyo, ang naging problema daw flywheel defect. after replacement of said part, ayos na daw til now iyong 04 city niya

btw, may 05 1.3 jazz cvt din kami, so far it's doing fine naman

oo nga eh. siguro dapat narin ako magpa interview sa abs cbn regarding sa mga nagkakaproblema sa CVT hehe. napanood ko kasi kagabi yung interview ni fireblade regarding sa innova problem niya hehe

exactly. but hey, no more PETRON XTRA MILE CHALLENGE. The fuel economy of the CVT can never be matched by the 5AT hehe.

Ive always been a fan of CVT's. But very sad with Honda.

Matagal ko nang gusto malaman ito. Yung chassis code ko PADCDxxxxxxxx. Yung engine naman eh REFDxxxx.

may mali ba? kasi nababasa ko talaga GD dapat yung jazz at city na previous eh. mine is CD, and the engine FD? diba pang civic yun? hehehe

And tama, siguro nga super eligible na ako for warranty

1. almost 2 years old ang car mga i think around 11k tinakbo, doon unang nag manifest ang problema. nagpaflush ako ng CVTF and recalibrate. It went away for that day (Placebo?)

2. bumalik ako. they hook it up sa computer. no codes etc. lumabas ng CASA walang ginawa. so walang bayad.

3. by this time, september of last year ata, i was so fed up. dinala ko na ulit. tinest drive nila with a laptop computer daw hooked sa car. they captured data daw. graph ata yun. na iba talaga ang takbo ng sasakyan. ayun, the plant ordered to replace shift solenoids. lahat. i dont know how much ito kasi wala ako binayaran kasi under warranty pa naman kahit lampas na ng 3 years kasi nga meron na akong previous records at madami hehe

4. nung wednesday, nakunan ko ng video yung nangyari sa car habang ako ay nasa stop light. huminto ako. then boom. that happened. kung kayo nasa kalagayan ko mamumutla kayo. I thought the belt just snapped! grabe vibration. para kang nilindol ng intensity IV hehe.

5. thursday morning, dinala ko na. sumama ako nag test drive. kinausap ko yung lalake, sabi ko sa kanya, ramdam mo ba? "oo sir ramdam ko". Sabi ko, oh diba hindi normal? ang bilis mag decelerate para kang naka brake, tsaka nagjejerk? "oo sir, iba talaga". Tanong ko rin, first time mo bang maka experience ng ganitong probelam? "oo sir first time hehe." unique problem daw ito. ask ko rin, wala bang problem codes na nakita? "wala talaga eh. walang kahit anong error codes or sensor..."

so what gives?! walang errors ha, pero nafefeel nila. is this a mystery defect? to add, VTEC unit itong akin. yung iDSI talaga daw super daming problema.

Lemon car since nakuha namin? Possible? Kaso, wala tayong magawa about sa lemon law. Wala pa pong lemon law. Nakabinbin nga sa senado eh. Till now, us, car buyers, wala pang proteksyon laban sa mga sirang sasakyan.

FD is the body code for the Civic. You're looking at your car's engine code.
R18 and K20 are the engine code for the Civic.

wow! that's really frustrating! 07 jazz ko na cvt is on its way to 65k kms..nakakatakot talaga cvt. napakaselan. already experiencing sudden jerking on reverse e.

may update na. wala raw sila makita. wala parin. whew. grabe ha. this makes we wanna file a case against honda.

Can't you request for a new transmission? Since I think, the problem is isolated to the that part.
Even if wala silang makita (bulag bulagan). Sabihin mo, change the tranny, then we'll see if ganun pa rin.

Change, not repair. Mukhang di sya clutch packs/soleniods. A word though, CVT can't be repaired. Its a replacement part.
