Wow low mileage. That k engine will last forever. As for pricing... I'm not really sure.

Di naman K series ang engine ng 1.8 Civic dito. R18 only. There was never a K18 engine

Haggle for a much better price. Something like 30% to 40% off the SRP as you need to factor in depreciation cost of a 4-year-old car.

Unfortunately yun ata ang ballpark ng civic fc. Overpriced pa din mga second hand, lalo yung mga 2016/17 since prior TRAIN LAW pa sila XD. Can't shake of the "honda" premium sa second hand market

makikisingit lang po. i cant seem to find dito sa thread. ano ba differences between the 1.8E and the civic RS aside from the engine? malaki ba difference sa fuel consumption and maintenance? considering the price difference if it will only be city driven and plan to keep it for a long time. thanks

Based po sa learnings ko kakabackread dito hehe, 1.8E ang bang for the buck. Most of the features ng RS meron sa E. Parang paddle shifter lang and additional airbags ang worth it na lamang if upgrade, tsaka siyempre yung turbo (more power). Pero decent na yung 1.8E for city driving.

Maintenance may also just differ due to the turbo engine. No experience pa sa turbo hehe

There is nothing premium about a Civic or the Honda brand name itself. It is all marketing BS they tell people when Honda was brought here in the 90s.

If buying used and the prices are around the same between the two models, go for the RS model instead. The two engines would be around the same in fuel consumption but you get better straight-line performance with the turbo model.

In terms of maintenance, you need to consider more things with the turbo model unlike the 1.8L NA engine which has proven itself to be easy to maintain since its use with the FD and FB Civics.
