This is 1.8 WOP - it is a fast seller so might be a factor in getting discounts. I only got free LTO registration and I pay the TPL. Insurance is not free but they matched my bank's offer with Acts of Nature coverage.

I tried hard to get these but failed due to stricter dealer policies after the July price increase. All I got was 10K cash discount. Demand has also increased due to upcoming excise tax.

Not sure if this has been tackled here already but just want to ask for recommendations for a good dash cam.

    - best model for PH weather
    - how to enable parking mode (hacking your way to the battery), will it void the warranty?
    - reliability, value for money

    thanks in advance.

From what I read, a good dashcam for PH weather are those with capacitors (instead of batteries) due to our hot climate especially during the summer. Batteries tend to explode on high temperatures and will likely be exposed to such when we leave our vehicles out under the sun. Its also mentioned that Japanese capacitors are the good ones to get as probably it is of a much higher quality.

For myself, though I am yet to purchase one, I will be buying the Viofo A119S. Though this one is not really made for parking mode. You can purchase one here. Just to add, I'm not advertising for them.

I heard good reviews for this dashcam, specifically from CarCamCentrak

Will the Yi Dashcam survive the hot PH weather? Saw TGP did an article about this once.

Well, the new Civic Type R comes in MT. You can wait for the next batch as the initial batch of 100 is already reserved.

I don't think the ASEAN region will get an MT version for the 1.8L NA or 1.5L turbo anytime soon. The US market gets MT versions for both the 2.0L NA and 1.5L turbo models.
