No need to lift your foot of the gas.

Yes sir no worries. What you need to know is when you shift it to "S" from D is that the S mode will retain the gear that you are on. Meaning you will need to manually shift the gears either + up or - down. Pero sa tingin ko alam mo na ito, I just thought that it was wort mentioning.

Just to add, pag nasa S mode kayo and the sensor detects that you are to slow for the gear that you are on, it will automatically shifts down a gear for you. But it will not do the opposite. It will also not allow you to shift to a gear if the ECU detects that you are either to slow or to fast for the gear you are trying to shift to.

yep . you can shift to S and D and back and forth. S is Sport mode. Also this mode holds the virtual gears longer. I use it a lot.

Have you noticed fogging in your headlights?

Mine fogged up a bit this afternoon. Noticed it as I was parking in the garage.

Kumusta po yung fuel consumption? we're planning to buy V, unang plan po kasi namin Yaris 1.3 E A/T, kaya lang nagdadalawang isip ako dahil 1.5 ang Jazz.

Sabi nga nila kapag pang city driving sa metro manila ok na ang 1.3, kaso kung same auto din gagamitin mo sa mga out of town trips mo at lagi kang may kasama/fully loaded mas ok yung power and efficiency ng 1.5 kaysa 1.3.

    For better fuel consumption:

    1) Turn on ECO mode
    2) 30 psi of nitrogen on all tires
    3) Use S-mode
    4) Shift gear on 2000 rpm * 80kph maximum speed
    5) Turn off VSA/ Traction control
    6) Darker tints help by maintaining cold temp on the cabin longer which enables the A/C to idle more than lighter tints.

Base on trip computer average ko is 10-11km/l for city driving. Route ko from QC to BGC either Edsa or C5 and some few trips around QC. New driver here if that counts and I usually use the Econ button kasi mas madali ko control yung accelerator di malakas hatak. Hahaha.. Pag wala kasi di ko makontrol minsan sobra bilis. Hahaha

Won't your tires be under inflated at 30 psi? The sticker in the car States 33 front and 32 at the rear. This is for the vx/vx+ BTW.
