Brio Amaze is 1.3L 4cylinder 16valve engine. That is also my consideration compared to Wigo 1.0L and Mirage G4 1.2L they are both just 3cylinder. So more power in the engine.

Saw this at fb page. I will be facing the same dilemma when I schedule my pms at the casa. Aside from the obvious oil and oil filter change what should I retain from the list? This is for 2nd pms odo reading 11k.... and is it acceptable to decline some of the items with your SA? as to not have bad impression from the SA.

you can skip the engine flush and fuel treatment altogether.
I am also a bit suspicious of the 1L coolant top up as from experience hondas and toyotas very rarely or at least takes years before a coolant top up is needed.
If you do regular 5000km oil changes your car will run fine either with semi-synthetic or mineral oil as long as they are within spec in the manual.
you can save a lot in costs.
if its free then might as well get it.
i have a similar experience with the doc. (toyota though) they claim to put in windshield washer cleaner fluid without telling me before hand. now I have no way of knowing if they really put in those things. i let it pass as the cost was relatively not much but i did not return to that casa anymore.
some casas have a viewing area to let you see your car when they are working on it but not all. also they may allow you to watch right beside your car for a short while but you may not be able to stay for the duration them citing safety/security protocols
Okay so better talk with SA beforehand that this is the list of materials and labor cost that the mechanic will only do if there will be additional cost while servicing your vehicle then let you know first. Okay viewing area is enough for me no need to go near the mechanic.

i would decline the engine flush and fuel treatment.
"next time na lang po. wala sa budget, eh."
i will also decline the brakes. even if the price seems competitive.
i have negative experience in casa brakes job.
"sinabing ginawa, kahit hindi naman ginawa."
when i had it done in banawe afterward, because i was advised that the brake pads were getting kinda thin... tanong nga ng mekaniko, "lumusong ba kayo sa baha? kelan ho huling na-linis ito?"
a fluke?
i add my coolant at home. no need to bother the casa for it.
good luck.
and, oh yes.
i use mineral oil and have oil change every 5000 km.
it is my belief that frequent oil change removes more effectively, the metal filings suspended therein.

Basic Change oil should cost you arnd P3.5k. Below example my 2nd PMS.
4L 5W30 semi-synthetic Oil idemitsu Honda PN# 08233-P99-F4NP1 - P1,248.45
Oil Filter Honda PN# 15400-RAF-T01 - P433.17
Sump Plug gasket Honda PN# 94109-14000 - P28.82
Shop Supplies & Materials Misc - 637.50
Labor - P1,112.50
Most service bays can be viewed from the customer lounge. Customers inside the bay is not allowed due to safety risks.
Honda GH has big glass windows facing the service bay so you can see your car being serviced. They also allow you to watch beside your car if you want. Ewan ko lang ngayon kung pwede pa due to the virus pero malamang hindi na.
Nung December na last PMS ko, I was there beside the car nung nagpaturo ako paano magpalit ng headlight bulb. Dala ko na yung Orsam NBL at dun ko pinakabit. Pinanood ko lang pano palitan. Mahirap pala sa mataba ang kamay.![]()
I see I'll check if I can have it pms in GH how's your SA easy to talk with? For headlight bulb with rubber gasket and pinlock its easy but Im afraid after removing it I cannot put it back lol. Much easier to replace twistlock type bulb at the rear.

For washer fluid is it okay to use dishwashing liquid + distilled water mix? will it not damage the washer pump, nozzle or much better to buy the washer fluid in blade store the blue one.

Distilled water is ideal, chemicals tend to build mineral deposits/calcify blocking the hozse and noozle. Just like what dr have said, tap water should be fine if you don't intend to keep the vehicle for 20+yrs. Just clean reservoir from time-to-time,"sundot" the noozles, keep windshield clean and maintain the wiper blades..
Okay thanks so i'll just use distilled water and im also wary of using dishwashing liquid and the chemicals in windshield washer. It is just that spraying distilled water alone would not give the lubricity needed to clean the windshield.
