Driving a modern turbocharged car feels like there’s always a slight push whenever you’re accelerating, slightly digging your body in the seat. The two modern turbo charged vehicles I tried is my friend’s WRX with a CVT and our Focus Ecoboost. It feels like the torque is always there. I don’t know with other cars but the tires in our Focus can easily squeal with moderate throttle application and the torque steer is a b****.
Pero ibang iba dun sa slightly modified Lancer Evo VIII na nasubukan ko dati when I was younger. It starts out like a NA engine tapos sa higher revs biglang may sipa when the turbo kicks in. Lumulubog katawan ko sa upuan. 😂 It's frankly a frightening experience.

October 30th, 2019 11:52 AM #193Its better to have torque down low in rpms in city driving. Better useability. Wrx and ecoboost engines offer that.
High rpm turbo gets less use. Bad for fc too. Ü
That's why diesel cars are good for city and even highways when rpm stays below 3k

The Accord was on display today - interior is head and shoulders above the Camry's. Tech, features, and overall fit and finish definitely a step uo from both the Civic and CRV.
I still like the Camry's exterior more, but only slightly. The Accord actually looks better in person than in pictures.

Too pricey for 2.3M. If it had the 2.0L turbo engine, the price would have been more justified. The new Mazda6 2.5L SkyActiv turbo is even cheaper by a few thousand, I guess.

Better engine, but the Mazda 6 is showing its age vs the Accord. The Accord is just more of a boss car especially inside - more space, more upscale finish. And 100% sure the majority of the buying market of the Accord and Mazda 6 won't use the extra 60 hp.
The Mazda 6 2.5 turbo is the spiritual successor of the old Legacy 2.5GT in the sense that it brings class-leading power and torque in the midsize market, but like the Legacy I doubt that a superb powertrain and driver-oriented handling will sway buyers away from the Camry or Accord.

This segment seems popular to a more senior demographic. Most of the CAMRYs & ACCORDs I've seen(those local to me, at least) have owners taking the backseat, driven. Legroom & comfort are likely more the draw than extra ooomph. I've also yet to personally know an owner of either to drive the car himself. Lucky chauffeurs!...Can't help have this imagination of really not minding becoming one.....But to be an owner? I can't see this blue collar ever being nor fitting. Long accepted to unlikely be fated.[emoji17]
